I managed to get 3 buffs on my owl but when i had to fly to another owl the minipet went poof and i had to resummon it… and the buffs were gone
havent been able to get 3 buffs again as it disapears everytime the minipet goes away due to summon…
i find this utterly frustrating… is there an easier way to do this? or just keep on repeating for days, hours until it works?
Switch to normal flying. Flying pets will sometimes disappear using the skyriding speed abilities, they’ll never disappear using the old way.
If you need to soft reset anything fly out of the area and switch to a different character for a few minutes.

You don’t need all 4 buffs at the same time, just to have the pet receive each of the 4 different buffs.
Wait till you’re moving the statues. You will reevaluate your entire life choices
8 O’Clock wasn’t too bad after getting the addon Killtrack and a pen and paper.
Jot down your rat count every lock and it can be done very quickly, it will take a few tries though, you have to familiarize yourself with the instance which takes a few laps
No the actual moving the statues. The combination was the easy part.
i feel it expires after a certain time? i still havent been able to get 4…

You just need to get the pet exposed to the coloured mist that spawns around the idol for a certain length of time per colour.

i downloaded statue solver, tried to watch the video nothing… this is beyond my stupid old brain
if you log out and try later will you have to start all over again with colors for your pet etc?
Once you complete an orb, it’s fully completed and your progress saved.
If you’re doing part 8 now you can reset the instance as many times as you need to. It does appear overwhelming, it doesn’t help that the “count rats each time you complete a lock” isn’t highlighted anywhere. (It is mentioned deep into blah blah blah videos and comments but it needs to be known before starting, each lock, kill and count rats again)
Once it clicks with you you’ll see it is straightforward enough.
The pet colours don’t reset, all that resets is the state of your statue platform on the final part of step 7.
Disregard my last comment if you are confused, there’s statues in part 7 (Warden Owls) and part 8. In Part 8 they function completely differently)
I had to resolve to get a guildie come solve puzzle 7 for me.
It was just beyond me…
Hopefully next step is better
