Its end of expansion .

Nobody will be really bothering with this epsvialy that there is a really mamy solid trinkets from m+ which people already have by now.

Yeah the “special kid” which WoW was built upon and its reason for its success back in the golden era of vanilla TBC-Wotlk…unless you want to argue that its popularity back then was due to PvP or something.
And it was raid or die back then. M+ is a mid-Legion “newborn”.

This kinda smells potential season 4, but I could be wrong, if they did so, that will certainly be underwhelming…

No no, there’s no way.
Alpha is starting next week. Everything points to early 2026 expansion release.
They’re cramming various activities into this season to cover that timespan.

They already said no S4. Shorter expansions because they are part of the SAGA.

They need to ditch the stupid mythic raid requirement if you completed +12 keys and up and just make everything avaible and cut the BiS crap locked behind raids the leaderboards should be based on who is good or not and not based about who can raid and who can not raid.

That is good to know then, was somewhat dreading we were going to be in a recycled patch after Legion Remix.

I’m not a fan either so it’s a win for me!

In wow you get to be a better tank or dps or healer in mythic+ dungeons if you raid but if you do not like to raid you get punished even tho you pay same subscription because they lock BiS items behind raid.

Cartel chips are insulting people on one side of the spectrum, and the other side as well. Because you still need to kill the mythic bosses for the mythic items.

Its lame because by trying to fit “the middle” they exclude both extremes. Extremes which are… really… vocal about their playstyle.

Biggest issue in this community. The entitlement is crazy.

Not the issue. Fact is most players are horrible at the game. Gear is not the reason why many players can’t time high keys.

My dh is sitting at resil 16 and two timed 17s without a single mythic boss kill. The sooner this community realizes that gear is not the factor, the sooner they will climb the ladder.

But it is a factor…

If you had access to mythic raid gear (as opposed to mythic M+ gear) you would be doing 17/18s instead…

Its responsible for 7% to 10% of my HPS and counts as a healer CD. Better than some of mine even.

And let me tell you… Doing +17s definitely qualifies as “deserving” for the best gear in the game.

Do you know what I have been advocating for years now? A complete rework of the system.

Delete Dinars. Delete the Vault. All you get are drops. Just like you do now.

However. If you kill X raid bosses, OR, do Y dungeons or Z delves you get 6 tokens.

These tokens allow you to buy upgrades of ONE peice of gear of your choosing, from Vet to Champion. From Champion to Hero. From Hero to Myth… up to you. It also allows you to buy terchiary stats. And sockets.

So. The results:

  • You play M+/Heroic Raid… you will take 15 weeks to be fully geared.
  • You Raid Mythic… you will take 13 - X loot peices you get to be fully geared.
  • You do anything less than +10 or Heroic Raid, then you will take double (26 weeks) to be fully geared (it takes TWO weeks to upgrade champion to hero, then from hero to myth.
  • You could explore the possibility of rarelly droping some of those tokens in really high keys (+15 and above).

Once you are fully geared, you still need 15 more weeks to upgrade all enchants/sockets. By then the season is over.

That is fair for everyone.

It is a factor during the early stages of the season. The great vault and crafted gear will close the gap.

Definitely. I can do them later when the great vault catches up. The season is still fresh and turbo boost is coming. I’m in no rush to burn me out again.
On a sidenote: if I weren’t lazy, I would already run 18s and probably gambit / streets on 19. gear is really not the issue :smiley:

I really wouldn’t mind that, because it’s true. I’ve seen the mythic bosses that my guild already killed (6/8m) and non of them are difficult. 17s on the other hand, oh dear. Don’t get me started on priory or floodgate.

FF14 works something like that. After every boss kill you get some tokens and if you have like 5 or 10, you can just buy that piece of armor.

This would completely delete the bad luck from the game. Best bad protection.

Well RNG is not that bad. IMO you still need to farm said peice if you want it… The only difference is where you farm it. The harder the raid/dungeon the easier it is to upgrade.

I mean… who designed these items? They are absolute beasts in M+. Worthless or barelly a 1% improvement in ST raid environments. And better by a large margin to the M+ mythic equivalents…

The trinket is 7-10% of my HPS. And the boots are a 5%. Just 2 items. In heroic version.

If I could get the mythic versions of the staff, that would be another 5% to my HPS… in shields, which are super valuable in M+…

This trinket is just a huge mistake because it’s mandatory for m+. And there is not a single m+ equivalent.

Yeah…they are mandatory too. Second huge mistake to design such an item.

Pacemaker is only ~0,5% worse than antenna. There is a good m+ alternative.

Yeah these items need to get banned for m+ or nerfed. They are way too powerful.
Usually there are good m+ alternatives, but this season it’s really only pacemaker.

Exactly. I would not make such a fuss about Dinars if that was not the case every single season.

M+ items should be good in MT situations in M+. And raid items should be the beast in ST. There is no need to have “equivalents” in all scenarios.

IMO Pacemaker should be OP in M+. And “meh” in raids. And the Antenna should be the other way arround.

Or they simply don’t design such gamebreaking items :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe I have to explain myself. I always talk about the mythic variant of items.
I assume that the average key pusher can and will clear heroic raids to get their heroic BiS items. It’s done in 1,5 hours max, not a big deal.
That’s why I don’t make such a fuss about certain items, unless they are really broken (like the boots).
