PVE adjustments applying to open world pvp and duels

Unsure if this is intended or not, but the PVE adjustments made to classes (that revert in instanced pvp such as bg’s), do not revert in duels or open world pvp.

This really cripples enhancement shaman due to the ancestral guidance PVE nerfs.

Is this intended or an oversight from blizzard?

The changes they make to pvp is always only for instanced pvp, so its working as intended.

The ongoing approach of adjusting PvP scaling to solve issues rooted in PvE balance. The current strategy seems to be compromising world PvP and duels, making them increasingly redundant or unsatisfying.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to scale PvE instances instead? PvE content tends to be the most demanding in terms of gear and power creep, and it’s usually the source of balance issues that bleed into PvP. By adjusting PvE-specific numbers (enemy scaling, damage thresholds, etc.) rather than tweaking the entire combat system for everyone, we could preserve the integrity of open-world PvP and PvP instances.

Right now, PvP feels like it’s being treated as collateral damage in the push to balance PvE metas. Shouldn’t we protect the uniqueness and competitiveness of world PvP rather than flatten it?

Curious to hear other thoughts — but I believe PvP should be allowed to thrive on its own terms, not molded to fit PvE needs.

Why should world PVP and duels suffer due to the PVE adjustments? Seems a bit unfair?

Duels never was balanced and world pvp is dead, trying 2 balance that its wasting of time.

You clearly don’t understand the point, all I am asking for is the PVE adjustments to revert on world pvp, like they do in bg’s / arena

It’s not that hard to do, when they manage to make pvp power and resil to work in pvp zones and outdoors they can handle this aswell. Timeless Isle is a huge part of the addon and there it intends World PvP with de buff to do PvP vs everyone even the own faction.
