i just find it weird that people who like to play pvp are forced to do things they may not enjoy â just as a barrier to entry to the content they enjoy. it wasnât like that before and people seemed happy enough with gearing process for arenas before.
what would you or pve players think of the game if the best pve gear for mythic raiding was obtainable way faster and, in some case for some pieces, exclusively through rated pvp ?
also conquest gear in bfa had many flaws, namely stats combinations were wrong for most specs, it was timegated and you needed rating to get good item level to begin with, which was not realistic for most players who did not play mythic+.
Do you go to warr without having armor,weapons,ammo etc ?

the issue is that there is no progression for pvp gear that consists of solely doing pvp content. think random BGs for a basic set, maybe doing some âashran-likeâ content and then entering rated arenas. there is a clear progression in a system like that, and you get to play what you enjoy, and you have to put time and effort into it regardless.
the issue is having to branch out to content you do not like as a prerequisite to play content you like.
But it is also unfortunate, because the GD section is essentially the only place you can get blue/MVP attention. Posts that are generally acceptable here gets completely shut down there. And that sucks if youâve got a legitimate point to push forward, like PvP gearing.

Well no question regarding blue posts obviosly. But how does getting a greeny post help? Greeny boys and girls are pretty much has the same influence to Blizz like any random John. They are not Blizz employes or messangers and etc.
