You as a PvP player create a topic in general discussion wearing 80% of PvE items saying that PvP gearing sucks as you have to mainly play M+ and raids.
PvE player with full PvE gear and not a single PvP piece comes and says that gearing is fine because he like that “everyone has to do both” while he has not even step into arena achievment and he only plays bgs where he doesn’t even have a chance for an upgrade.
Most of them have no clue about the game, their life in wow is all about clearing raid in hc then stop playing or farming xmog.
One time I did a post asking why demonology is trash every xpac and I got an answer like ‘’ dude, if you can’t push it’s not because of the spec but because you are probably bad… ‘’.
Well the arena forums are more elitist when it comes to things people discuss.
People here usually discuss balance how it works at high cr and if you talk about low cr specc issues your opinion is mostly less valid in the sight of others.
BM Hunter might be totally OP at 1800 but no one would care because it’s a you issue to climb the challenge as in higher elos these speccs are as an example considered throwing.
I don’t think it’s wrong thinking like this but then you need to realize what the majority of GD people are.
It’s a mix of casuals, pet/mount collector, HC raider and low key runners.
98% of GD don’t even play Arena at all or serious pvp
That’s not the point Cutiepie. Arena forums are not read by devs. Until you get provoked and then reported by Jito you’re not going to be silenced because we don’t report each other. Even if someone argue with someone else we respect each other inside due to dedication to PvP.
The point is that I created the topic there as then there ia a chance for MVP poster, bluepost and that someone will read it. 9/10 there will be a situation where guy who is against separate PvP and PvE progression is a guy who got PvE gear and now wants to dominate PvP newbs with it in BGs. He doesn’t even queue arena and he is happy not to because it’s extra work. This way we PvP players have to play PvE and they don’t as their gear is superior.
True and tbh I think they could upgrade the forum or do a special section for people that achieved something during the current saison/xpac so players and devs can see and work on real problem instead of having to read into an ocean of bs.
I mean, I’m not someone that use rating or achievements to bash people or claim I’m better than anyone, but as long as I got 2k4 by playing only demonology ; I think I have enough knowledge to tell what is wrong on my spec.
It doesn’t mean I’m totally right but I guess it would work better than creating a post in lock section and seeing it ruined by player saying ‘’ dude demo is fine, I one shot people in skirmish everyday… ‘’.
Only 3 things are important for every dragonslayer:
That they don’t have to ever touch pvp, but when they are bored that they can jump into bg and oneshot low geared ppl.
That if they decide to play rated pvp, that they can make up for their great ignorance by op pve equipment.
That their gear will always be better than pvp gear, and that they will literally always have an advantage over pvp players, just in case if they decide to play pvp.
And of course, as long as that is the case, they will always say that everything is fine in terms of gearing.

you played battlegrounds to get resilience gear and then got the bis gear – for pvp – by doing arenas

Ok u want pvp gear , u had pvp gear in BFA ,after farming 500 conquest from doing pvp,u were able to choose between 5 or 4 pieces of azerite pieces or trinkets or rings…
And they were 465,like #@! Ur talking about ,u had emblem ,maledict etc u were able to get 475 gear from pvp.
U want pvp gear ,do pvp but when u get deleted because u were lacking gear,don’t come and cry.

Exactly, you said it it’s a MMORPG. If you want to have success in a certain area you will farm what it needs to be succesful in this part of a game.
TBC and WOTLK you had 95% PvP gear on with some pve pieces here and there for certain classes. It was wrong at these times but it is now 12 years in the past and Blizzard learned from it in the upcoming expansions by seperating it completly.
Get good PvP gear then you farm 430 people. I see no problem behind this especially with scaling gone. PvE has no part to play in this case
