As the title says, it’s possible to make a change specifically to PvE or PvP only. So why isn’t this being done with every single change?
Both modes end up with balance issues where general changes are made, more so when it comes to the effect it has on PvP. The most recent examples would be feral and ret, which damage wise were already strong in PvP but falling behind in PvE.
I know the changes aren’t PvE only specific, it’s “general or PvP only” but surely to make a change to PvE and not PvP you would just offset the one with a minus. For example, if you want to buff the damage of Fireball only in PvE by 10%, the you give it a general buff change of increasing by 10% and a -10% change to PvP only. Bad example, but the point I’m making is to always keep them separate.
But the worst part I dislike is that sometimes they nerf the class itself because a spec is overpowered. Like, it also nerfs underpowered specs. I havent seen this happen lately, thankfully, and I hope it stays that way hehe:)
I don’t think this is really fair. Since DF, they’ve been making a lot of changes, and each time they are re-balacing pvp based on the pve changes. Sure they won’t get it right 100% of the time, but they are making the efffort.
