I cannot apply a Magnificent Jeweller Setting to a hero item from a BT TW cache. It says the item cannot be modified. The item in question is (619) Band of the Ranger-General. Is there any hidden catch? Should I put a socket before upgrading the item or?

Note: This fix does not impact previously obtained loot, and Customer Support will not be able to manually exchange any items.
