I’d much rather they integrated DR and CD tracking (and stuff like that) to base UI rather than remove addons that provide those.

It is available, if you’re John Nash from A Beautiful Mind you could track it manually via the combat log.
I wish more people think like you. I also am a firm believer of #noaddons
I have no add-ons installed and never will people who tell or ask me if i have dbm i tell them that its useless because you can learn everything without add-ons.

All addons should be disable in Instanced pvp / arena/ skirmishes / rbg /bg !!

No-addons mentality is terrible, you won’t get praised because you choose to make the game more annoying. And for sure, if you lose an arena it’s not because the opponent uses an addon that tells him your cds, it’s because you got outplayed.

I agree with this, there are addons literally telling you when they don’t have any defensive left, so you brust them.
It’s really stupid, if you want to know they don’t have a defensive you should probably look at them and pay attention and not a huge icon that blasts into ur face telling you ROGUE DOESN’T HAVE A CLOAK!

They tell you how to automatically do the raids.
It shows that “this guy isn’t doing godlike, let’s kick him”.
Hypocritical opinion or just sheer ignorance right here.
It shows data the game wouldn’t show you normally.

I could agree on the last part but im just gonna pass it out as a straight lie.
You’re telling me that for the highest type of available content, you don’t need to follow everything in the meta?
This isn’t believeable.
Every branch of gaming has it.
The best results must follow the best tactics, gear, builds, etc. NO straying.
Either you have never used them yourself or your just become so dependent on them you want to defend them no matter the cost.
If thinking that addons play the game for you makes you feel better, whatever, go ahead

i made my point clear I will not use add-ons but i do know of them and know what they do in which i agree with the op they should be disabled in game because it can give you a unfair advantage over others
I use this as a general rule of thumb:
If this particular OP says something then the opposite is likely correct.
Therefore pvp addons aren’t cheating. Simple and effective.

It’s then your choice whether you wish to utilize those “unfair advantages” or not.
Imposing your desire to not use them onto others is even more unfair than any addon gained advantages.
