Pvp becoming worse every expansion (without an exception)

Why are you all throwing random statements at me as if I have to defend this and that?!

I’m simply arguing the merits of the PvP item design – that you can gear up through PvP and level your Heart of Azeroth as well.
I won’t claim the design is perfect – there’s room for improvements – but it accomplishes what it’s meant to accomplish.

If you’re looking for a shoulder to cry on, look elsewhere.

The point is, why should someone who only wants to play PvP play PvE just bc he can’t get it’s class buses through PvP?? Why some of the best PvP traits only com from some specific dungs, raid or world bosses??
Why I can get a 370+ by spending 20-30 min on a +10 but I can be playing arenas spending about 5 mins on each and don’t get a piece of gear out of the conquest reward (once per week) in 3 hours playing?

Yes you are

Your untrue is untrue, because they are forced to do PvE content. I can’t play affli lock in PvP without 3x ID traits, no one can.

Not an advantage, just to be able to play your class, GL to play without traits. The power difference is huge with traits and without.

What is this? lol

Don’t post in PvP thread then if you are not playing PvP.

TL;DR Jito is a troll or BFA PvP developer in disguise.

You are trolling in this topic. PvP community is not happy overall and you post here bullsh*t to angry people even more.
Random BG are not equivalent of heroic dungeons. PvP and PvE are completly different activities of the game and you know that but pretending it is not.
Gear from PVP should be better for PVP than any PVE gear - this is end of dicussion.
Gear from random BG should be better than any PVE gear for PVP including mythic uldir and mythic + dungeons.
Before in wotlk, for example, we could get wrathfull gladiator neck, rings, boots, waist, wrist and cloak just from random bg and this gear was better for pvp than any pve gear including 25 heroic icc raids. From arena we got wraithful set, no pve gear can compete with that.

I suspect because Blizzard didn’t have the foresight to know which Azerite Traits would end up being the best for PvP.
Some Azerite Traits were obviously designed specifically for PvP, so I suspect those were intended to be the most useful within PvP – especially given that they are also obtained through PvP.

Reality however didn’t pan out that way. Too bad. Hopefully Blizzard will do better next time.

Yes he talk like he is one of the uncompetent Blizzard game designers. It is very sad they have no people in game design who understand how pvp should work in theirs own game. Before they had excellend designers, but the guys who made bfa have no clue unfortunatly and broke the game.

I just checked your profile, even with grinded pve gear and high azerite levels by mindlessly grinding island expeditions you still cannot get even 1.5 at the end of the season:)

This statement is kind of a joke right? Atleast I hope.
You go to a physician and you get a diagnose wrong you die. Well sh@t, too bad hopefully next time the practitioner will do better next time.
Except he won’t, because he will be in jail if it’s a failure that should have been prevented with ease.
Or in some cases they need to do a reintervention to correct their failure.
Yeah I know its a hyperbole but still. If there is a chance to correct the failure they should do it asap in the first few weeks.
But nah blizzard does not give a sh@t. And that’s why we have now mw/destro/uhdk/boomy…
Also if they try to correct they do an even bigger sh@tfiesta for addressing the issue like we have seen in the case of Retribution

Well, like I said, from a design perspective they definitely made some Azerite Traits with the intention that they should be optimal for PvP. And those Azerite Traits are also conveniently obtained through PvP.

So ideally it would all have played out in such a way that those Azerite Traits would be the ones you’d want for PvP.

In practice, then whilst the PvP Azerite Traits are still okay for PvP (like Battlegrounds or World PvP or lower-rated Ranked PvP), then they’re probably not as good as they were intended to be.

Thinking back to the Beta, the Azerite Traits were added very late, which didn’t allow for much testing. So when the expansion was released the Azerite Traits were all over the place in terms of relative balance. Blizzard did some quick hotfixes to reign in the worst offenders (3x Shuriken Trait for Rogues if I remember right, among others). And then they did a general balance pass on all the Azerite Traits a while later, which did improve the overall balance of them.

In hindsight, that whole process could have been done a lot better, and from a PvP perspective it’s clear that the Azerite Traits intended for PvP haven’t worked out the way they were intended.

It would always be nice if the game balance was better, but it is what it is.

its almost like a PvE game (where a minimal part of the playerbase does pvp to begin with) focuses on non-pvp activities for the fastest & least effort way to gear.

with the game in this horrendous state why would they ever wanna make people do less pve and more pvp lmao

Well that’s just false. Half blind morons can do m10, which gives same gear as duelist+ games.

Iirc he had it and lost it in WoD i guess.

There’s not elite gear… oh wait you must mean the gear which is:
1800 rating required
only 1 set per armor class
5 out of 8 looks like garbage.

I’ll have 7 tokens on Week 1 of the Raid, you can bet your a$$ I’m getting at least 1 or 2 pieces of Azerite.

While you as a PvPer have to pray for it to drop.

I’ll enjoy PvP for as long as I get to kill Horde.

Don’t know what your problem is.
