PVP BG BLITZ > I will share my experiences <

Hello guys
Today I will share with you my good and bad experiences with pvp bg blitz, I hope blizzard fixes these problems.
First of all, there are character balance problems in matchmaking, while some teams have high CC usage rates, some teams have low CC rates. This creates a disadvantage in flag wars, this reduces your winning rate to 30-40%.
Also, some characters are fast, some characters are slow, this is a disadvantage, sometimes there can be completely slow characters in the match and it becomes very difficult to win the match. For example, monk + dragon + druid etc. Actually, the imbalance starts with these 2 main factors, the CC rate and the ratio of the number of fast characters determine your winning rate, most of the time another issue is this;
The game imposes a very heavy penalty on the MMR range, sometimes you can be at 2200 rating, the guy on your team can be 1700-1800 or even 1600 rating. I think it should be at least 2000, assuming that someone with a lower rating has done an elo boost, the player is likely to sabotage the game.

If these problems I mentioned are solved, the matches will be more fun and competitive. In a war with so many disadvantages, it is unfair for the MMR system to have such a wide range of points (2200~1800~1700 or even 1600). If a player is already at 2.2, 2.4, you should not drop this guy easily, the punishment system is very bad. If this system is like this, it will be like gambling. Please make the necessary corrections, you will not be able to fix the cc rates, at least reduce the mmr point range. Also, there is another situation that I noticed, the faster the match comes, the more you lose, for your information, friends. The longer the match lasts, the better for you.

These issues I mentioned are the problems of bg blitz.

The good thing about bg blitz is that it is a good application for people who do not have communication skills to be forced to communicate in order to win the match, I think pvp will get to better places in the future. Getting into a match in 8-10 minutes is really great, well thought out.

I told you my good and bad thoughts, what do you think?

You are confusing MMR with CR. At the start of the match you see your team mates current rating. Only at the end of match screen, you can see their mmr. If you check next time, you will see that they are rather close.

Which he does. But also it doesn’t really change the statement behind it.

You have a lot of people with high mmr and low cr who had a weird lucky win streak but barely know the rules of the bgs. Specially some like Eye of the storm who have changed rules.

There is just a different skill level to a 2,4 cr player at 3k mmr with 150 games and a 1,6 cr with 10 games.

Even though getting 2,4 is free in BGB , as everyone gets its after around 100-150 games. It’s still frustrating if the matchmaking puts a team of low cr Vs a high cr team since one team will play strategy the other will play mostly random.

Also usually you can’t have 1,6 player def cause they get bored and leave the basis to Zerg xD

Actually what I mean here is that the MMR gap is too high, Cr doesn’t mean anything, but it’s ridiculous to play with players with such a big MMR difference, for example, you lost 3 matches in a row or let’s say 6 matches, you were unlucky in the matchmaking, someone left the game, and this happened to me. The MMR gap being so high, in other words, it suddenly lowers you from your current rating. If the character difference in the game is so big, the mmr system’s gap is very cruel.

I know the issue, but if they would also consider CR at this point, then queue times would be absolutely insane. Presumably, their approach is, that in the long run it will balance out. Unfortunately, I see no easy fix here. Some people suggested a static mmr increase/decrease per win or loss, but I fear that would massively deflate the ladder.

Nevertheless, I assume a stealth nerf to mmr in S2, just like they did to SS in DF S1.

Well, it also works the other way.

I feel like either Inflate the other brackets or deflate bgb heavily. Because as you said there is no good solution for it. So atleast giving more alternatives to get „easy rewards“ instead of suffering through coin toss games or just kill the mode with long que times and capped rating

Both would work

delete this retarded bracket end of story

I have lost almost 200 rating over the weekend because for some reason for the last 2 days every single time I lose I also lose 9-13 rating and every time I win I get “rating unchanged” xD

On an alt there are random 700 rated people in a BG full of 1800+. Those people really underperform, and lose us the games, thus losing rating. The MMR system is really flawed and I grow tired of it.

Why are 1800+ rated people being paired with full green 700 rated? Seriously needs fixing.
