I haven’t done any sort of semi-serious PvP in WoW for atleast a decade. However, I’m thinking about giving it a shot again.
This is not a thread about what you think of the current state of Cata PvP. It’s more about what classes/specs you find fun and/or rewarding to play.
Personally, I’m thinking of starting out on a dps. Probably a melee class, but a caster could work aswell. What do you think about for example sub rogue, in terms of fun, capabilities, solo play performance, easy to pick up for a PvP-newbie? I enjoy the class fantasy of a rogue in PvP, and well Reckfuls old videos from the Cata era are the bomb, really. Other class/specs I consider are arms warrior, ret paladin, fire mage, balance druid and shadow priest.
I’m also mostly thinking random battlegrounds with the occasional arena. Never was that deep into arena gameplay anyway. I did play quite a lot of arena back in Cata/MoP though, but was never really successful.
