Unholy has a number of abilites compared to Frost but this global cooldown on each ability is making Unholy this a nightmare to play. Most of the other classes can burst alot faster, etc…
I can go outside an build a house and then come back, before Unholy starts making propper damage, but by then, UnholyDeath Knight’s are already outhealed or killed.
Ya’ll need to remake Unholy spec somehow cuz this ain’t cuttin it.
Let’s also mention our pet. It dies all the time in 1-2 sec , is hard rooted by mostly any class during “burst”… Pet should be much more resilient and not so easy to cc, at least during dark transfo
Yes, our dmg is in pets and they are sitting in root/snare 24/7. To pop burst you need 5 sec of gcd, even my grandma can react to this. Also this festering would system is really really garbanzo.
I think Deaths Advance should also apply to our pets and make you immune to roots, slows, knockbacks etc… At least for now that would be an easy fix and they will not rework the class until the next expansion.
after pve damage nerf (mastery) unholy pvp get worst and worst. now nobady is happy in pvp, the developores are comfused when they see only syms. in pve the bigest damage of unholy is army apart of that is nothing spesial in damage. and thouse pvp change they did we dont see that improuve un in pvp. (yes they are stronger than before but not even close comper to the onter class) may be we will see UN in tournay as counter play but i dont think is feeting in meta.
Unholy too slow and clunky. Even his new NW need so damn long to build 6 stacks…GCD here, GCD there and more GCD and again GCD. Unholy got slow RP generation, slow rune generation a lot space in rotation where u waiting and just do weapon attack, clunky outdated mechanic.
In PvP if u going to haste u lost burst, if u going to mastery u increase GCD and rune generation.
Absolute joke of a spec , necrotic wounds is more useless than ever. It feels like this thing is healing the enemy rather than harming them. 0 pressure even during CD’s , 15 globals before you actually start your mediocre damage. Pets are dead 24/7 even in 2v2 , don’t wanna talk about 3’s because it’s pointless. So y , F- tier for another year.
we are like bm now . we need to control dot ,pets, festering ,death coil. and all of them costs gcd.
if we are pure pet class why we are doing festering and scourge +d&D. and death coil too.
turn death coil to a curse. %2 debuff damage taken for x seconds(stacks 5 times) +damage. and auto use when procs.
remove ss- festering strike is like heart strike and ranged ability like clawing shadows- 1-3 target damage+debuff. death coil and pet attacks consumes it
remove aotd- make new cd for 20 seconds haste and movement for dk and pets will be okay.
outbreak- applies vp explodes as aoe damage when crits. and %x leech when pet hits target.
D&D - not ground effect. its aura of dk x meters(yards) pets hit aoe and slows enemies in aura
I tried a lot of thing, found that NW + NB is a must with reducing apoc conduit, same as pudge + NS was mandatory before. Otherwise there is just zero pressure and UDK is just not working. UA or AoD depends what u need burst or sustained. Anyway NS was better as pressure button. They just need slightly rework NW - thats stacks build…UDK already slow and clunky, cmon…Tho they need to reduce number of stacks and give them more % of healing absorbtion. For example 4 stacks each absorb 7.5%.
