So when will we PvE Players be able to get old pvp elite sets ?
Since you PvP Players can just farm Mythic sets 1/2 expacs later?
Doesnt Seem fair and if just add another tint for Cutting Edge

I imagine never, even though they look amazing and i’d like to get them too, but i doubt they ever will make them available for pvers
we just need enough ppl argue for it so blizz has no other choice to make it possible
You can buy old honor/conquest sets from PvP, but why should you be able to purchase the elite versions?
I mean I also would like to get some old elite sets I didnt collect due to missing exp, arena mates etc, but I’m happy with all the sets I’ve collected since Legion.
Then you could at the same time also reimplement all challenge mode sets for free, or for some pve currency.
Since Dragonflight I believe, they give PvE players for KSH an item which lets your class set from this season glow, or atleast shoulders, head.
And yes I know for PvE players it is a low requirement going up to 2500rio, but the same counts for the rating requirements in PvP for PvP players, both dont like to do the other kind of content.
Yep, pretty much this ^
There are Pve items/titles you cannot get anymore, and there are PvP items.
That’s part of the game, to make it more interesting, and get something you worked hard for. Not everything needs to be illegible through trivial content. Part of the motivation for some people to play, is getting those special items/rewards/titles etc.
If you weren’t there, don’t be sad. I feel great when I see people who has TBC glad mounts etc., even though I don’t have it myself.
Obtaining the Elite tier set appearance can be a significant challenge. There are no tweaks or shortcuts, like upgrading heroic gear, to unlock it. Although I feel sad about missing out on so many great gear appearances, I appreciate the rarity and value it holds.
However, there should definitely be recolors of these sets available.
There are already “recolors” - it’s called the normal sets or honor sets which look alike but different colors. Go get those.
We dont need recolors of every item and mount in the game as is the trend at the moment.
Mythic/Elite and lower tiers do not look the same. You can not buy Elite tierset with Honor Points.
It is a good trend. It harms no ones display of achievements and provides more ingame cosmetics.
I am talking about the old stuff from wotlk/cata/mop etc where there’s 3 different versions in pvp. Blue (honor) and the epic pvp set, which are re-colors of the elite.
And no, spend time implementing new exciting stuff. Recolors are so boring and lazy. It’s the same with all the “new” movies which are rip offs off old ones.
Flawed logic. Obtaining mythic set in even bigger challenge than a measly 1800 rating and yet after expansion ends, everyone can just go back and farm them solo easily. It’s definitely not a reason why elite pvp sets are gone for good after season ends.
The reason is pvp is so unpopular that they need to give those sets as FOMO to try and lure some players into it. Same goes for glad mount vs mythic raid boss mount. Glad mounts are fomo but raid ones can be farmed in later expansions.
You can’t be serious.
Pve will never be a bigger challenge than PvP due to the fact that PvP ALWAYS change it’s patterns, you never know what is gonna happen. Pve is the same mechanics over and over until u perfect it. It cannot be compared.
And please stop the term “FOMO” it’s overused.
And “lure some players into it” ? Lmao - pvp has been a thing since always, same as Pve.
Let’s look at some statitics for fun, at a random patch/season.:
Legion season 1:
Number of people who earned Gladiator: Collected by 0,0152% of accounts
Number of people who earned Cutting Edge: Collected by 1,4825% of accounts
Same goes for other seasons. - Pretty safe to say that Pve is not more challenging than PvP
Well you are comparing wrong things. We are talking about getting 1800 in pvp during the season vs getting full set in mythic raid during the season. 1800 is nothing, especially now with bgb blitz being a thing. Getting on a scheduled raid roster and sticking around killing mythic bosses over entire tier season is much harder and more time consuming.
Sure I agree getting glad is harder than getting cutting edge mythic but this has nothing to do with this discussion. So you completely missed with your little rant.
Actually, you missed it with your rant.
This was “So when will we PvE Players be able to get old pvp elite sets ?”
OLD pvp sets… Old sets which required 2.2k+ rating etc.
And no I did not miss it, I was simply illustrating that Pve isn’t more challenging than PvP which you claimed it to be.
Actually everything that isn’t current is “old”, so even dragonflight sets, OP even stated that much, clearly rendering to all sets you can longer get and not specific ones.
And back when requirement was 2.2k rating it was just as easy to get them as now with 1.8k. so you are wrong again (and even tries to manipulate facts deciding old means 2.2k rating like it was stared anywhere on this thread that this is what op means.
Funny how people who get destroyed with logic always try to manipulate discussion with lies and selective arguments).
So just as easy, yet fewer people has it. Sure. Seems logic to me… oh wait
That’s why there’s tons of people with Arena Master which were 2.2k each bracket etc. Oh wait, no. There is not
By no means 1800 is an easy to get ranking for many specs and people…
