PVP Gear in pre-patch, a joke?

And that honor gear will upgrade almost to LFR ilvls. Yay?

100% Intentional ilevel from marketing department to raise up token sales for carries and boosts. Expect PvE gear have higher stamina and stats in Shadowlands.

Blizzard developers and designers do not play PVP anymore. Last one that did was fired during MoP when clueless egoistical morons were reined in.

They will reset it.

You know that, right? And the gear will still be utterly useless.

Its a RPG game, the one who puts most time in it tend to be the strongest.

Its not a pvp game like street fighter or any other arcade or fps game.

I dont like burst in pvp too…

Acronym. Definition. MMO . Massively Multiplayer Online (gaming).

Spend more time in the game means better gear. Trying to make this about money is plain stupid.

No. The one who puts the most time into raiding is the strongest. With the nerf of M+ gear the gap between raider and non-raider power will be even bigger.

Which is good! Raiders are supposed to have the best gear and that should show, with them having an advantage.

Ok. Lets make this about time. If i spend more time in pvp then u than, by your logic, i will have better gear than u for pvp.
But in bfa than is not happening. Wow amazing i cant belive it…

Its always about the money.

While I don’t agree, I believe I can see where you’re coming from. Is it your opinion that raiding is harder than other content, and should therefore reward better gear?

Is top-tier raiding an activity that should reward better gear than top-tier PvP?
And should it reward better gear than super high M+?

And is it your belief that raiders deserve to steamroll PvPers because they raid? Completely overpower people on their home turf because the content you do provides higher level, more powerful gear that may or may not be easier to obtain?

I don’t do any of those, so I can’t compare difficulties at all, but from my perspective, which is admittedly limited, I believe that the best gear for any given activity should come from doing that activity.

Omg… The bullshieeet that brought us BFA.
This is the :poop: that Ion feed u, all of bfa. And you swallow it happy…

Why should PvPers have to put up with low-energy PvE repetitiveness when we were born for high-energy, high-testosterone PvP glory? Probably to nerf us 'cause we’d continually shrek PvEers as we did back in the day

I never stated you should have to put up with it, stop jumping to conclusions. Personally I would prefer if there was a PvP stat ingame, they could convert versatility to become that stat.

Pretty much, considering the sheer volume of mechanical skill for boss fights due to how many people there can be in a raid. Often times one person messing something up delays loot for everyone.

In a sense, yes, unskilled PvP players should always get steamrolled by everyone with better gear, although as I said to the person above I would really prefer if there was a stat only for PvP.

Thank you, I appreciate you explaining your perspective.

Hopefully that will become a reality some day. From what I’ve read, PvP gear in SL, though being of a ridiculously low ilvl at the moment, seems to be quite heavy on versatility, whereas M+ and raid gear supposedly has some pieces, but not that many with versatility.
I’m personally hoping that will become the norm, and that vers makes a big enough difference for it to be a viable alternative to PvE gear.

Wrong. The one that puts the most effort to be the best should be the one that conquers all others.
