It seems we are no longer able to upgrade gear even though a certain milestone is reached. I had 2.1k rating on one of my chars that i dropped a bit but was still able to upgrade. after 9.1.5 i can’t upgrade anymore, i have to push rating again. on another alt i pushed 1850, but instead of getting Rival I reward in weekly i got challenger II (1600). this is becoming ridiculous…and ofcourse when i created ticket i was told to submit bug report.
support is of no help. Blizzard is useless…
I find that u need to win a game at this rating in this week to upgrade. Seems like to upgrade gear for duelist level gear u need to win at duelist rating.

Yeah,but what about weekly reward, that is definitely bugged…also, these kinds of changes need to be noted within patch notes…so this is something they are not aware of, just like 90% of the things happening this expansion…
Its not bugged. I have challenger 2 loot on this char this week. Think u need CR on this tier and win a game/games on this MMR. So to get challenger 2 gear at vault u need win a games at >1600 MMR and got more than 1600 cr. Seems like its working like this now. So if u got 2100 CR and win games at 1500 MMR u will get Challenger 1 gear at vault.
it is, as i wrote, i “pushed” rating on my other alt to rival. I pushed about 60 more rating than 1800 for rival, but still got challenger II reward
Mb most of the games was played at challenger 2 rating? Mb this, idk tbh.
They fixed the bug basically that’s what’s happened.
Instead of afk at a certain mmr you now have to play at that bracket weekly to earn the right to upgrade gear.
However the game is bugged and people like myself are being incorrectly rewarded since 9.15 and the vault for pvp isn’t giving the right rewards too

It is bugged my man.
They have confirmed it and told ppl affected to make an ticket.
Ive got a rank lower gear in vault too.
So ive submited ticket…and as a response ive got automated robot message with link to wowhead and survey about how well they did with that ticket…so yes blizzard support is useless atm.
