A game that has nothing to win or no purpose to win cant even be called a game.
I am a Rogue and have all cadaverous - shadowcraft gear plus lobotomizer and glacial blade. In order to get better than this I have to do MC (for daggers certainly) or pvp av (just gear), with rare quality better than im using. Im lvl 6 stone guard and need lvl 7 to get the first two rare items. Ive run out of steam to be honest and even though im halfway to lvl seven, I cant see the point. Blizzard made a mistake imo in re-releasing just Classic. Had they called it Classic Plus they could have re-released upto nax but also added a solo play pvp league. The solo play pvp league (per server) would have a yearly prize for the winner/s = PURPOSE…!
They could also reset the servers calling one side or the other the winner (maybe based on AV, AH and GULCH results) (make available a purchasable t shirt to the winning side (WOW Winner 2019-2020 HORDE (char picture on the back)- or something), after which there would be a server wipe (say after two years) and everyone starts again.
Got to have purpose and there isnt any. One more thing getting into MC is nearly impossible and a system of public raid join for MC onwards would be far more acceptable than just chat adverts from Guilds that keep most of the drops anyway.
As a new player i couldnt give flying frook whether or not it is the ‘real’ and original game exactly as they released it. WOW Classic is just a load of people living in the past which makes it all the more sadder. It is dead in the water not a question of if but when - for there is NO PURPOSE once you reach 60 to carry on.

but even those hybrid could get Tier 2.5(Aq40) so it feels like “pvp gear is totally useless” and only the weapons is super good but doesn’t worth the time at all.
not really they also spend 20+ hour because they compete with other sweatlord alliance players 
If you are not in a good premade yes, you are correct, however that is not the case for major servers as all top rankers agree on honor caps. You cannot agree for honor caps as horde as there is always someone random who can “break the brackets” (which cannot happen for alliance if they are in good premades).
Let’s take Gehenas few weeks ago. Honor cap for bracket 14 was around 1.5 mil honor. Considering that their premades are farming around 22k honor per hour that’s a bit less than 70 hours played.
To put that in perspective with horde. Golemag last week standing 1-3 was around 1.15 mil (not sure how much exactly is standing 1 but I saw a guy with standing 2 with 1.15 mil). It is virtually impossible for horde to farm more than 10k honor per hour in the long run (due queue times that are sometimes over 30 minutes and premades) so let’s be more than fair here and say it’s some lucky horde guy who is averaging 9.5k honor per hour that would put him at around 17 hours played every day.
I state again though, I’m being generous with above numbers so daily played for those guys is probably 20 hours a day…
considering the fact that you have to compete against bots that literally farm AV 24/7 without pause, the answer is a hard “no”.
if the bots were getting banned for their crimes the scenario would be different, but trying to compete ‘fairly’ against a machine that doesn’t need to sleep, eat, go to the bathroom, go to work, tend its family or maintain a healthy state of mind is nothing short of futile.

To get the epic gear that is worth it, and due to how imbalanced the queue time is, you need to play 24/7 now.
If in, say when Shadowlands comes out, many players stop classic PvP grind, then ranking should be in reach of a single player.
