PvP gearing is so boring in dragonflight. The difference beetween 437ilvl and 450ilvl feels completely nothing. The only thing that really matters is choosing the right statpriority for the spec.
Shadowlands was a disaster because the ilvl was bound for arena ratings, and the rated pvp was n early non existent in shadowlands. But at least we were able to doing some progress trough honor and gear upgrades.
Can u Blizzard please make pvp gearing more progress like through upgrades where the maximum ilvl not bound into any rated pvp rating?
I not like arenas never really did, but even right now in wotlk i enjoy better my warrior because after every item i change by arena points i feel like my character become stronger not like in dragonflight.
Full honor gear is like 11 k honor.
There is also craftable pvp gear if you wanna min max your stats
Conquest gear is just a chore to grind without catch up mechanics as you are somewhat hard capped on how much conquest youc an earn a day.
Main issue is the balance and the big numbers meaning nothing in the end because you just evaporate anyway.
For gear progression go PVE
Rated PVP is not about the gear but about the grind. Progressing over time in the bracket you like either alone or with your friends.
Casual PVP is about kicking butt with your friends in battlegrounds.
No, but they do change class & spec when they feel like trying something new.
Like I did with Affliction, which is not an S-tier FOTM reroll noob-stomper.
Doing bgs is cringe cause theres no reasonable template in place for new players, rated arena is cringe cause lack of tuning & solo shuffle is a nightmare on elm street and I donât see the appeal to it at all, but you got better odds of climbing SS now thanks to 3v3 and 2v2 being dead and basically being a grind of playing vs constant glad / R1 players the second you hit 1.8k+
Absolute nonsense. There are embelishment and crafted gear overall as well. Gearing is more exciting and gives more possibilities since WoD Iâd say. Depending on how many set pieces do you play you decide what craftes pieces should you use. Ele Shamans for example get 30% Versa and then either stack Haste or go 30% Mastery and then stack Haste. R Druids sacrifice even more versa and stack Mastery and Haste.
set pieces are still meh, i donât rly enjoy mines alot, in pvp it doesnât feel like they give me anything, and once teveryone aquired tier set, they nerfed arcane surge bonus dmg to compensate for the tier set bonus dmg after using surge, so it feels like a downgrade, with not the stats that youd want also
shadowflame crafter gear is top in system, very good⌠making you scale in pvp every piece of gear, also good
