Just like some streamers have already talked about this and some since then given up with wow I would like to rise up awareness for this fact
I find it interesting to think how for last 17 years world of warcraft still remains as the mmorpg which build in pvp system mainly exists as this sort of old guards platform with dozen little private clubs from where the PVP modes of the game is mainly used from
Be it discord channels of 10-15 people or bnet contacts harvested trough time… or just group of irl friends boys playing video games
Just think about this for a sec with me, world of warcraft which is the largest and most well known mmo trough history of our internet and made a quite deacent fortune trough years aswell achieved because of us players, how can it be that this massive game still has so outdated systems for players to play its game modes compared to any other mmo or game out there
Ive played many mmos and games out there trough my life as a gamer and quite alot private servers which some of wow
If I think of current wow to anything Ive experienced the wow LFG function is still the most outdated of anything Ive played and play
I just find it baffling to think of when taking in account how big this mmorpg is and how much resources and time they have had to improve the game and how little they have done in end to it
Now DF is adding us the lot talked about soloQ function and some improvements done with gearing in mind to 2023 for us to play with but I cant be helped but also think of the fact how can it taken them THIS long to finally start doing something like this what almost any other game and even some priva servers of wow already haves
I just wanted to emphasize on the fact that this type of upcoming functions new to wow and fireing up a game and pressing play to immediately start some relevant aspect of the game in a mmorpg is nothing new as a concept year 2022

In shadowlands pvp systems arena gives very little honor like many ppl have commented to blizz especially with this 1/9 gear system where upgrading pieces eats alot of honor
Its a massive treadmill and I think it is the purpose of it just like the whole expansion feels like a treadmill built to keep subs rolling and show shareholders numbers of still active accounts
I think we have to take in account that we have to know when we are being played
only trolls, or wow ego andys with the mental and logical thinking of a 10 y/o bully seem to be in the arena section. Edited the bottom part out. I know, that I’m right, but don’t feel like argueing with anyone
lfg as a system in itself would be fine but many people cant carry their own weight and drown in sorrow after first game loss. some also prefer sitting lfg all day instead of playin with somebody 50 less exp then them. its a community problem not a problem of the system.
I feel like this xpac people are more toxic and give up easily compared to bfa, but I guess it’s because getting globaled here and there it’s pretty hard to say if you mess up or not.
Like said above, people can’t stand few loss even if you did a pretty well session overall then you have to re q and waste your time again.
Unrelated to my post but does bring in mind this russian hunter that just qued to my druid showing SV in check pvp and then being MM in the lobby and BM for 3rd game
I carryed the guy for 4 games and once inspecting details I see he did 0 kicks as total in any of the games we did
Guy was half lower exp than me
Ps. for obvious reasons I am not going to play with people who dont even bind their interrupts especially when they are range ones and extremely convenient to kick things like heals as an example
I am pretty good at dodgeing cc on my druid timeing flesh or tranq as immunitys and just its mobility or taunt pet when being trapped example so I dont need much help on that
It would be nice tho if one plays a hunter that he would use interrupt on things as mind games and cyclone and heals when ever he is possible
Tbh, I think the toxicity will be smaller with a soloqueue system, because everyone will be in an elo they belong, and play with roughly equally skilled people. People, think that soloqueue is toxic due to league, but it isn’t anymore, since most people nowadays know they get banned. Right now this is not the case. Low mmr feels miserable, and it shouldn’t feel bad, since most people are statistically supposed to be low-mid elo, so it’s a complete design failure
lfg works as followed.
u find somebody similar cr and q games. if he belongs on this cr but u are better rating will rise. next time u q lfg again it repeats itself and u will find partners with higher cr and more exp.
so u wont stay with hunters who dont know what kicks are.

so you think when soloQ comes out everybody will be 2.4k rating? the brackets will be the same.

And now I see what you are trying to do here shifting the blame on my end of the LFG system when the whole topic of conversation were about how there shouldnt be LFG systems to play the end game but modernized versions like in any other games
It’d be really funny, if they played soloqueue in dragonflight, and would be stuck in 1.5k rating with their giant egos and play against me
Then they go to LFBoost, and no casuals play there anymore, so they only have to face premade tryhards, and also can’t get in the upper range anymore by farming lfg pugs. Will be a good time gonna make sure, I’m checking forums around then
