it feels like a private server with a playerbase of 400 people

top 500 in eu are rank 1 players all playing between 1800- 2100
of course its dead.
ive ran into a rank 1 player at 1600 lol⌠so blame the MMR

thatâs kinda what happens when you cap mmr at 2100. Iâll most likely be out after this season too because of this

i remember queueing into him and ziqo playing disc / arcane in early DF (both terrible specs) while I was playing rdruid / demo lock. we were so scared we pillar humped for 5 minutes and outlasted him while their chats flamed us like crazy.

so they made trinket tunings but no class tunings, i guess blizz is fine with that, how the game currently is
it feels like, we have reached the end chapter of a film, shareholders and blizzard know, that PvP is a mini game, not more worth than a mc Donalds coupon, PvP community is already quiting and moving to a other game. its a gg wp i think, was a good run
Yeah because it turns out none of the casuals (myself included) liked it all that much and now that you can play BGâs people just donât play it.

Game sucks, itâs unbalanced as itâs possible to be, and unlike Riot with League of Legends, Blizzard take forever to fix broken things that shouldnât even have gone through beta to beggin with.
So yeah, of course people (me inclueded) eventually give up.
When you play a class that hits like a wet spaghetti, has very few ccs, no defensives, no self healing (Moonkin) and you face semi-Gods like DH in DF S1 (I still have nightmares about this abomination) or current DKs / frost mage / warlocks, and months later nothing has changed one bit, you lose hope, you know this is gonna be an utter mess for another 2 years. 
Count me out already.

Also arena might be slower and shuffle mmr capped at 2100 but solobg is very much active and highest rated ppl are 2900+ something already. Pvp in solobg is very much alive. Idk why anyone would play anything else than battleground blitz but its not my business really, pvp in this season is not a graveyard however.

if im not wrong, solo shuffle is still more active, but bg blitz have no mmr cap which means u see a higher mmr number there
they could make the same for shuffle to give u the illusion, that the game is alive
well you said it yourself that shuffle is active aswell, also i didnt claim that it werent. I did say that shuffle is capped on 2100 aswell so I already know this, what I also know is how many play shuffle and blitz as they are public information and they show that the game is active so nothing is illusion either. look up matches played, pvp is very much alive and active. also as there isnt mmr cap in solobg isnt it only a good thing, i dont really care about shuffle or arena. but hey, atleast alot people play shuffle too, if its mmr is capped i dont really care tho as Im playing solobg. cant say i care too much what happens to arena either as i dont have team for it, i can just play solobg tho like so many others 
It is cause itâs pointless to q ranked, why bother when you can play solo and get rating easily, also the majority of people donât care about 3s cause they will never get the mount.
All rewards are the same in all bracket and also they lowered the rating requirement.
That was obvious, normal ranked will be only a r1/glad bracket in the near future, all hardstuck 1k8 and that 's it.

Partially true, but if enough people played 3s and the season gets brutally inflated like SL s2, then everyone can get the rewards, problem is that people have way too many options nowdays with a participation that cannot affort it.
Itâs crazy. I thought shuffle already gaveaway rating for free, but BGB did the impossible. Thereâs casual players sitting at 2,5+
I can bet very soon we will have Bgb players asking for glad mounts.

Unpopular opinion: thatâs how itâs meant to be, and bg blitz totally shoulda introduced a recoloured glad mount.

Correct. The game is mmo not esport. Afraid to say it guys but mmos purpose is accessibility, as without people you dont have mmo. People into esport type gameplay are better headed into other type of games. Mobas and shooters and such are catered for esport type far better, mmo is about bunch of people playing it and quite many casually aswell and the game should be designed for majority as thats what mmo is about, having large quantities of players playing the game. This now is the future and where wow should always been heading related pvp as the game still is mmo and majority are not interested of trying finding teams to try achieving some gladiator type achievements in 3v3, they just want to play the game and log in and play and thats it, thats the type of pvp mmos usually have and its almost always world or bg type content easily accessible for the whole playerbase. Im not surprised if arena happens to be the least played now that we have solobg. The majority of playerbase just want to log in and play and log out whenever so want, they dont care play the game to anyone elses schedule but their own.
