Already many people mentioning this, but I figured i’d make my own post expressing my distaste for it as well. SoD is quite fun PvE wise, but PvP in SoD is by far worse than almost any other mmo i’ve ever played, and i’ve played almost all of them. There’s close to no safe zones either. We got rogues camping certain places in stormwind, 2-3 shotting any cloth users and taunting them before stealthing again.
Hunters 1-2 shot people and just in general pvp in SoD is an absolute joke.
reroll hunter/rogue/paladin if you want to have fun in pvp

100% you’re not wrong. Just triggers me when I cant even avoid them as they’re camping mage tower in stormwind. Unfortunately playing on pvp server simply because of friends picking it back in phase 1. If kill time wasn’t literally 2 seconds, I could actually have a chance to fight back, but guess not.
just reroll shaman, literally all you need to do. most broken class since P2.
Don’t worry Hunters also just die from any class that gets close to them and don’t have any tools to actually survive a fight, no one is enjoying PvP right now, everything is a one shot fest.
Its probably the worst iteration of PvP I’ve ever seen.
The devs made it clear that PvP balance is not a priority and that they would not dedicate resources to balancing PvP as it contradicts the point of the season
Says the broken ret paladin and prot paladin aye, dunno what’s your problem with shamans whom you can easily kill during your bubbles, but in case its not enough you still have lay on hands, hoj and repentance.
A skilled retpala can solo everything, the only problem is that most of the ret playerbase pops bubble+steed and run away or backpedalling and crying on forums.

anyone with two braincells on ele shaman can literally outheal paladins “burst” with the busted combination of Earth Shield and Riptide alone.
if it is an enhance they just runaway and heal through wolves after your bubble expires.
you are delusional if you believe paladins are even close in PvP regarding DPS, rets are hardly an upgrade from warriors.

as a shaman, i approve of pvp.
Yet only paladins are complaining 24/7 here, and I for sure know that you spend more time on this forum than in game and calling everything fake news that not about revamping paladins for the 3rd time or buffing them to oblivion.
Go ahead and watch what a PROT pally is capable of, let alone ret or just stop your BS on forums.
i am upset how ppl keep saying shaman is op since p2. i played it and i can confirm that we were alreay op in p1. it is just hardly no one played it.
p1 with some min. tank gear and tank skilling, you were already hella thick in pvp. did not nuke ppl toooo bad but you just could not die.
wave has a private agenda-crusade against shamans cause they are the only ones that can purge the heck out of him, thu he can’t kill them

During p1-2 he was on a crusade against rogues. Now, after all this time, he probably finally understands what stoneform does and probably doesn’t bubble sap or cheap shot anymore. You won’t hear a peep from him about rogues since he can global them in a stun.
Now he is having trouble burning through some ~350 earth shield and ~550 riptide heals. The last class resisting his massive skill… doesn’t matter that resto shamans were giving him trouble during p2

so true. i really dislike that class. it has many skills like shaman but shaman still have to kind a do something. like press purge, use mana and a global to purge some. or do this to get that.
pala feels like, lol, click, bubbble, 10sec free to what u want. or full heal, like omg. and the stun… 5 sec. enough to kill an ele sham in pve gear. no worry.
You can bet if he were to face other ret paladins this guy would be all over this forum shedding his sad little dwarf tears asking for ret pala nerfs at the cost of buffing his and his character only. That’s Wave material right there.

Since P4 started there has been nonstop whining about paladins, people suddenly getting worse after they cannot farm paladins for free HK/honor anymore.
Shaman has been busted since P2 and 0 fixes have been done to address their overtuned and overpowered state.

paladin matchups haven’t changed at all, and wont till there has been an actual PvP change towards shamans and orc racials. sadly toomany forum trolls whisper in the devs ears and ask for paladin nerfs (LOL GET GOOD).
oh no rets good in XYZ situation against classes which it should win anyways. mate play the game or get off your high kodo with all that clownery about shamans not being good and paladins being OP. 
guess what blizz did prior to P4, they have nerfed mutilate and gave em a good alternative to still compete. too bad the same hasnt hit shaman at all.
ur delusional lol, rogues with proper gear from pvp or MC against paladins with r10/MC/pvp mace dont get GCD’d. but hey whatever keeps you going with those delusions that people come up with for paladins.
tl’dr play the game trolls and try to say anything, you will notice that pallys dont do asmuch as your bloated egos think.
