See, I don’t balme Blizzard, connected the two aspects of the game, because, well, it is part of WoW like PvE, tho’ a tiny part
But would rather not pray for luck in dungeons to MAYBE open up the HC Dungeons… so took the easy route and made several people’s life misrable in rBGs, epic bgs, arenas, brwals, untill grinded out what I need… it took a few hours. I not really had fun, but in turn made several palyers rage about the drity pvp casuals… and can’t blame them. I’m not the bigges fan of PvP but ended up on an efficient route
The reverse true for the PvPers… they find themselves in PvE situations and basically as much as dead weight and burden for a team like I was in PvP

Really? I have iLvl 187 and 21% Versatility since the FIRST 15 MINUTES after we got Renowned 7 
How does that help with “getting the best PvP gear comes only from PvE”?
Get team and get rating? Is that something like a “GET GUILD AND GET WORLD FIRST” type of thing?
Wod had the perfect system. I would spend one hour per week doing random arena, cap conquest, that was it! Best in slot pvp gear. Then I would enjoy world pvp, bgs, some more arenas, couple of rated bgs sometimes.
I would do questing at a pace I would enjoy. Some dungeons, a bit of lfr. All enjoyable, not a second of game time I didn’t choose to do. Pvp gear was second class for pve, fine by me, but it would still cut it for what I was doing pve wise.
Such a shame these two play styles aren’t supported this way anymore. The absence of a simple pvp stat and way of getting bis pvp gear through pvp only has destroyed pvp, and will continue to do so until changed. I didn’t even buy shadowlands…
I do some bgs every now and then, but it’s awful being undergeared. It still reminds me how fun pvp in wow can be though… only a memory now…
Pvp players might not participate heavily in other parts of the game, but they still buy it. They still play it, and don’t even need that much new content… Such an easy crowd to please really… shame current Wow decision makers don’t get it.
Imagine forcing the “pve guys” to grind all the way to 2400 so they can get their bis for pve… this is what they are doing to us forcing to play pve when i want to play just pvp !
This alone is the proof that you are only interested in what happens in arena (or whatever PvP activity you’re participating in).
I have bad news for you. WoW will always have a storyline.
Want the best gear from PvP? Then be the best. Otherwise you dont need or deserve it. Deal with it or do something about it.
Templates sucks, current PvP is good, especially when they balance it we will have alot of fun with class variety in both rated and randoms.
PvE is not required, there might just be overtuned raid items and if they balance them we won’t have a problem. I did 10+ keys and reached Rival this week, which one will reward better? PvP chest, 226 iLvL, not mythic+. I just wanted it as an alternate choice and probably pick PvP reward instead of +10 mythic+ drop.

problem is best actual pvp gear is like 30 ilvl below the best pve gear, and pve gear also have broken trinket+ legendaries+high item level conduits, wich is like having half of the stats missing.
This xpac promises about pvp gear being obtainable with pvp were a blatant lie

. Now tell me all about how it’s a torture doing some pve in an mmo, fundamentally built upon the foundation of pve.
This week you could get a 233 weapon from chest for having 2400+ in arenas which is far higher than anything you could get in PvE.
Imagine buying expansion so you can spam the same old BGs and arenas.
pvp was always a side game in wow anyway so not really an issue

How’s Torghast Level 8 going with your mighty-on-par-with-PvE. PvP gear? Personally, as iLvl 187 I couldn’t get past the 1st Assasin that popped on me while in Enhancement spec and as Restoration it took me 15 minutes just to clear the first few packs on the first floor
