I really hear you Blood. I only do random battlegrounds too. The dude in the video explained something about “people complaining who don’t do rated” but I didn’t understand his observation about how they could progress.
I did think the guy pointed out you could just look in group finder for people doing “rated battlegrounds” as “randomers joining”, but I don’t think you would win against a full scale “team” of players who are organised. Is there points for a loss?
Why would you want good gear if you play casual? You cannot get good gear from PvE either if you play casual…
Epic bgs is not that casual as u think it’s kinda big deal, all the big honor lvl guys is there.
It is more the rating needed for casuals then the conquestpoints.
And that you do get in rated PvP; win or loose.

i have seen rated bg pugs act like pugs in regular bgs
aka being bad no inc calls no healer interrupts and worst of all the enemy scores a free win
is it gonna be that different at 60 ppl actually listening to the leaders tactics
bad groups with no common sense are what stops me from 1800 rbg rating with no voice
If they want those juicy upgrades they have to now, people will adapt for good rewards.
i dont think someone who clearly avoids any kind of teamplay wants the conquest gear

in rated bgs to legionnaire with no voice
bad groups who follow no tactic left a sour taste imo
used to have soldier of the horde which old cutoff was 1670/1673?
Well you gear faster anyway by running mythic+ or raid 
i do have some guildies who occasionally do a m+ key with me joining them
but castle nathria normal sounds interesting might pug with them
for the gear(some odd reason never missed to pug few normals from palace to bod and nya)
not in a hurry though we are not lvl 60 yet

Equal treatment. It’s always been this way in every aspect in the game. Just do rated and you fix the problem
This seems good, though I’m still worried about the secondary and tertiary systems alongside PvE trinkets kinda dampening this system’s efficacy in letting people get their progress done via PvP.
Pve trinkets are useless half of them got nerfed for 70% and the other half don’t even work in arenas.
That’s reassuring to hear, I’m very glad.
Maybe I am a bit too pessimistic because I’ve been burnt on these things before, would love to just have a system that lets me play what I want.
But you’re still gonna do PVE content anway, which is the whole point of trying to send a message to blizzard.
How many m+ or raids are u going to do first 2 weeks? 
And no, it probably won´t be faster, loot is heavily nerfed for m+ in SL.
Anyway, players who play PvP and PvP only can finally gear up doing only PvP activities and be on par with raiders/m+ players.
