Pvp lag hack/macro?

Hello there,

I was wondering if any of you are aware of the potential existence of any lag exploits to gain advantage in PvP.

I’ve looked this up online but could only find people talking about using lag on yourself to make yourself invulnerable. I think I may have found someone using an exploit to cause lag on others.

I encountered 2 horde players teaming and ganking people in Tol Barad (usual activity for them on Firemaw) but then weird thing is that whenever I got close to one of them specifically, my game would lag BADLY. Like never experienced before badly. I had 2000 MS at least at times. If I backed away from him, everything went back to normal.

I restarted the game and my router, thinking it’s a me problem.
Logged back into the game, my ping was ok this time, around 30-40 which is the average for me. Looked after them and shortly I found them. Approached the same guy again, guess what, game going crazy and stuttering.
I also whispered two other players who were killed by them, and they reported the same thing. (have screenshots)

The thing is that I never lag this badly in WoW, no matter the circumstances. And my internet is very reliable.

I wanted to go ahead and do a screen recording of this whole incident but when I started looking for them again for the 3rd time they were gone. Roamed around the map for 15-20 minutes.

What are you thoughts on this?

It is possible. You can report them through the ingame interface or Hacks@blizzard.com with the screens.

Yes there is i have been lagged out in arenas and my spells not casting at crucial times in the game people are cheaters.

Not sure how they are doing it but it needs to be stopped

Only thing i know is the age old lagswitch abusers but it just makes their own chars rubber band around you while they can still play normally and from your pov world looks fine except the lagswitch abuser. Making ppl crash sound like ddos attack, wild if they would be just crashing ppl in world. Hope you made report

Came across plenty of fake laggers in Plunderstorm making it very difficult to melee them there.

Lagswitch is too easily manufactured self and has sadly been around forever, its annoying to encounter them especially when its cheat

Unfortunately hacking’s been increased and players have tools what programmers have. Reporting is always good for the future of the game.
