Well I for one dont give a monkey crap about rating in video game never did and never will. I did arena in mop/wod just to gear up quicker I only like BGS and world pvp so you will not see my rating little booster/boosted. And I dont fear boosters cause 1vs1 with equal gear you all suck.
ofc you “dont care” about rating when the highest u can reach is combatant. its a defense mechanism to protect ur ego from the fact that ur a bad pvp player.

combatant mindset. nobody starts with max gear at 0 rating. playin the game good to some extend is what makes it possible for u to acquire higher rating and then get the better gear. but ye thats something out of the spectrum in ur world. in ur world everybody higher then 1.4 is boosted kekw stay bad.

Getting gear requires a partner and people who really play casually do not have a partner. Getting 2 other people to play at the same time as you when you have inconsistent play time (sometimes not playing for weeks or months) is near impossible. Think before you speak.
i know how gearing will be next expac and for me it makes no difference at all. what u seem to not understand is that u dont have max gear (duelist) until u reach the rating requirement for it. if u play at 1.8 rating for example u face mostly people that have 1.8 gear. so even in shadowlands i could never have a gear advantage fighting u in arena because by the time i reach the rating to upgrade my gear i already surpassed the rating ur stuck at.
so the combatant mindset is the thinking that u are hold back by gear. but ye thanks to blizz this delsuion will be shattered next expac when u will be combatant rating with max gear. sadge.

But in BGs + wPvP, players can (and do) have a massive gear advantage on-top of their skill advantage, rendering the game unplayable for many (would-be) players.

I thought there was a tool called LFG just for such people. But I already know what other excuse casual players will use.
You can’t get good ratings with randoms you don’t know unless you get lucky. Yet again, use your brain instead of being a passive aggressive nerd.
Bingo, exactly as I thought. Just because YOU are crap at the game and can’t hit any rating with randoms doesn’t mean it can’t be done. It can, maybe work on your in-game and social skills and try again.

It never existed in the first place. Even in S1 (BC) 16 years ago there were a lot of players running around with the weapons who just got boosted.
Gear never had any prestige in WoW.
That’s not true lol only a few even had S3 gear on my realm… Misery Battlegrounds where alot of fun. That all ended when they merged all servers and realms…
best pvp in wow was in Legion, best random BG pvp I ever had. now with this Ilvl poop you are getting wrecked in simple random BGs by some boosted player who thinks he is the best skilled player out there.
I despise wow pvp, I am here for a month to grab my headless mount if it drops than good bye wow again for a year if they dont normalize pvp.

I’ve got to 2960 and 4 glads by only playing no voice with randoms, that’s not luck, that’s just me being good enough to get what I want when I want it.
