Pvp premades

is there any real point to these forums , pvp players have been moaning about premades in random bg s for donkeys ,do we really think blizzard take any notice of any of these comments ,its just hot air like in every bg.

They do take heed of any suggestions given through the forum or ingame. Except internal discussions have led nowhere really as each new solution brings new problems.

As long as there is no actual change there’s not much they can say about it either. Personally, I’m up for seperating them again into solo/premade as a test to see if it replicates the same issue we saw in SOD into Retail.

I’m not sure people are advocating pure solo queue / anti-premade, so much as anti-Qsyncing.

What would be the problem with mixed factions?
I’d have thought that would balance both games & queue times.

I dont think most really care about the premades.
the ONLY important thing about this epic BG is the dayly conquest reward… that you cant get due to premades over and over and over.
so i made a suggestion that thy just give the dayly conquest from the random BGs for paticipating.
I think that would make almost everyone happy!

Many players play only for their faction; playing on the enemy’s side is unacceptable for them. But that won’t be your problem, I understand.

We had that years ago and that lead into pve bots queing for BGs just to stay afk from start to end

How about bring epic BGs with solo queue and small honor reward (no conquest)
and epic BG premade vs premade queue with honor+conquest reward?

  • the ā€œnoobs-that-dont-want-to-face-premade-and-farm-honor-gearā€ guys can get their honor gear to start playing rated or join a premade vs premade community
  • premades can play against other premades and get rewarded for that (actually not the case if they play wargames)

I think we need to be more precise with our terminology.

Very few people have a problem with premades ( ≤5 grouped).
Many people (inc premades) have an issue with Qsyncing.

Reframing the issue as ā€˜solo vs premade’ is disingenuous.

If splitting the queues was a serious option (& I don’t think it is, I doubt we have the numbers to break queues down), surely it should be solo+premade on one side, Qyncers with their own queue.

Even the tweet that was posted talks about ā€˜killing premades to force a solo queue’ to show that ā€˜premades aren’t the actual problem’.

I don’t know who this guy is, but with all the threads & all the complaints, you’d think he’d have a grasp on the difference between premades & Qsyncers & which is irking the community.

Yeah. That would suck for all 3 of those players.
I take it they don’t play Blitz & skip expansions where H&A work together?

Probably worth it for the health of the game though.

ā€œFixā€ the game in favor of some, to spoil it for others, while investing resources in it… Excellent logic.
This is what the author of the article says, that it is better not to touch anything at all. I completely agree with this.

I can’t find which article you’re referring to.
By ā€˜article’ -do you mean Tweet?
By ’This is what the author says’ -do you mean ā€˜this what I think he’s implying’?

You’re free to agree with any interpretation of his tweet you like.
But that won’t stop it from being a misinterpretation / strawman of the communities actual complaint.

Dont bother explaining context to a person like Saneko.
Dude is AI generated.

For a second, I imagined myself as a developer…

I’ll come in the evening and read what people are writing on the forums…

On the one hand, a druid is writing, who has played thousands of EBG matches, clearly understands the real state of things. A shaman is writing, who gathers thousands of people around himself, who managed to unite them, who promotes the interests of WoW PvP not only in the game itself, but also on other platforms. A hunter is writing, who has huge experience playing not only EBG, but also other PvP aspects, thousands of matches have been played.

On the other hand…
A level 69 gnome is writing, yeah, I get it…
A druid is writing, who doesn’t even hide the fact that his entire gameplay is running AFK on a rogue. A paladin is writing, who has never played EBG. And a couple of level 10 gnomes are writing too…

So I’m sitting here thinking, should I change something in this game or not?

I think the least thing they can do is to remove /rw from epic bgs. Will this fix the premade problem, no. But i do think it would make things more bearable.

If you want, use the in-game send feedback to help with this. The more the better.

This will only harm the solo leaders. In pre-mades, teams are designed for random players, premade participants have completely different tasks, they understand what to do in the game without teams.

Why would we punish solo leaders or people who want to organize rest of the team? Or simply someone who want to teach others a new strategies? How muting oposing leader would make your PvP experience in epic bg’s better? Especially if you play one game in a month? This has nothing to do with premades…

When you were imagining all this in your mind, did you envision yourself in a smokers jacket and a monocle? :face_with_monocle:

…when you imagined yourself as a dev reading the posts that you wrote, did you nod to yourself in complete understanding & respect at the depth of intellect & wit?

Whats wrong with monocles? I always wear one, its peak fashion, way better than brocoli hair :>

Would also be safe to assume devs don’t read here, only mods who could probably maybe give suggestions to that community council and they get it to the devs.

You sure about that?
I can’t think what else they’d prefer to do after a . days work than come to EU BG forum, pen in hand, making notes on what a certain druid is writing, who has played thousands of EBG matches & clearly understands the real state of things.
