Honestly I dont care and nobody cares.

I bet 500E that ALL (and I really mean ALL) comps will be: Gdruid, Hpala, Mage, SP, Aug…

And that should mean something to you guys. Fix class balance and Evoker NOW and forget about this competition. Nobody cares.

What happened with gdruids? I was offline for two weeks and now i am noticing a lot of gdruids talk.

Yes pretty much. Extremely predictable and boring.

Well I suppose I could watch other people play as opposed to playing the game myself…

Yes… Has it never occurred that this is one of the many problems with WoW? Complete garbage that appeals to a very small minority or those with bored curiosity while they wait for the LFR queue.

But what do I know. I’m just a casual scrub who doesn’t even play myhtic but has to make do with pathetic at best open world content. Off to run my 160th time rift…

This needs to be repeated as many times as possible.
The great push for player housing!

I don’t like being overly negative, but is there anything in this world that’s more dreary and missing the whole point as watching somebody else play WoW?

Complaining about it.

So two months later everyone can say “this isn’t real housing!”? No thanks. We need new types of progression content with more dynamic rosters than mythic raids instead.

@topic:
I don’t watch MDI or whatever because it’s mirror setup after mirror setup and because my spec hasn’t been represented once over the last two expansions.

Will probably watch some of it  Hopefully we can also see some new things we can implement in our own live keys, allthough i am playing in a group without any of the meta specs except hpala.

They are gigachads now. Really good changes happened (you can now take all good passives in guardian tree - people play physical trash/raze/ursoc focused builds). Oh and moon bear ceased to exists, automatic twin moons nerfed.

You can say exqct same thing about any sport or game.

Why watch somebody else doimg X when you can do it yourself? Answer is simple - because these super high end gamers can do things none of us simple players can or will ever do. Ofc no one will watch full 3day 15 hours streams, but tuning into more intense moments is quite fun (or just have it on the 2nd monitor). And needless to say - there are a lot of cool tricks you can see in dungeons, and later implement them into your own key runs (like good skips, cheeses, etc.). Ofc if you have desires to go higher in keys.

The same questions could be asked:

  • why watch NBA when you can play basketball yourself?
  • why watch champions league when you can play football yourself?
  • why watch counterstrike tournaments, when you can play it yourself?
  • why watch cycling race when you can go cycling yourself?
  • why watch WoW pvp AWC when you go solo shufle yourself?
  • why watch super mario speedrun (sub 4:55) when you can play it yourself?

The list is endless. You watch it because you know you can’t do things these people are doing at the very highest level of X activity.

I like rock climbing, and I do it myself a lot, but I still watch the competitions and hardest ascents of top level athletes - just to appreciate them and maybe learn a move or two. All kids back in a day were watching And1 mixtapes and triet to be a streetballers in basketball… I see no difference between that and WoW competitions.
