Delver's Reagents Tuning - 10 October

Profession reagents that drop in Delves have recently been in lower supply than intended. With hotfixes that are now live, we’ve made the following adjustments:

  • Delver’s Pouch of Reagents sold by Sir Finley Mrrgglton at the Delver’s Headquarters in Dornogal now costs 500 Undercoin (was 1500) and contains 3 random Delve reagents (was 2).
  • Profaned Tinderbox can now be purchased from Blacksmithing Supplies vendors Borgos and Sofee Batalsworn in exchange for 3 Ringing Deeps Ingots, or 3 Vial of Kaheti Oils, or 3 Viridian Charmcaps, or 3 Gloomfathom Hides.

Being able to buy them is a godsend. :dracthyr_love_animated:

Those who managed to empty the AH for the trade mats made out like robbers.
Stuff that used to cost 4g now sells for 400.
100x the money is quite the investment.

You snooze you lose!

I’d have done the same… saw this news the minute it was announced.

But alas, I’m at work. :sob:

Weird looking nerf, you alright Blizzard?

Halleluya. FINALLY. I’ve been saying for so long it’s weird how Ringing Ingots and Kaheti Oils are everywhere and dirt cheap but the special tinderboxes are a thorn in everyone’s eye. At the end of the day, they are all regional mats, they should be equal. They will still probably be more expensive than the rest simple beacause of Blacksmithing and all the Plate-wearers requiring them but not so much more. This brings balance to the Force.

It be raining tinderboxes… Now I can finally enchant stuff lol.

Thanks Blizzard. Managed to make a bit of gold flipping these until the prices stabilised.

Some people were sitting on loads of Profaned Tinderboxes, trying to control the market. They’ve lost millions because of this :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

That’s the blood in the water effect. Every time something is bottlenecked, people exploit it to get an advantage. Until that bottleneck is removed, it only gets worse over time.
I suspected the tinderboxes weren’t THAT scarce and the whole situation was amplified by goblins and that confirms it.
But it should’ve been resolved much earlier. It was plain obvious everyone needs tinderboxes and they weren’t dropping enough to satisfy that demand. It only got worse over time and when they crossed 4k per, I just straight up gave up and ignored them until it is fixed.

This game is just dysfunctional. similar to how they nerfed storm dust, those changes in normal game should be applied before the release. You guys act like this is normal
it has NOTHING to do with goblins either, that material is used wide, but was rare from the beginning because blizzard did not think it through as usual

Sometimes it feels like Blizzard is running a personal war against me … “fixing” every part of the Game that is or was fun to me …

This time … i love to just go for a treasurehunt and it was a pretty good feeling, when you see a tinderbox popping up that you can sell for a little fortune … now it worth 500g. Thx Blizzard.

From US forum “This post was made at 8:10, and almost every reagent needed to buy tinderboxes spiked at 8pm. Funny…” Can you comment on this? You make changes and your workers buy the materials? Interesting

You “lost” because you hoarded, causing the price to stay artificially high, leading to Blizz having to break the bottleneck.

You are a victim of your own shortsighted decisions

lol all youre reaction says is you dont know nothing about the game.

It did not work this way lol, people just stopped doing delves despite people acting like its the best content ever

Do you have a source on this or just a feeling you have?

This was made at 02.10 game time for us , if you are going to question things maybe learn time zones

Also depends on which coast you live on US side plus they are region wide so the person who posted that has tin foil on as there is an hour difference in some places coast to coast yet share same AH.

Same as UK and mainland EU
