In this post, we’ll update the score required to earn the Tempered Hero title for The War Within Season 1. As a reminder, the title will go to all players who end The War Within Mythic+ Season 1 with a Mythic+ Rating in the top 0.1% in each region.
In this region, the title will go to those who scored at least:
When was the cutoff? You only mentioned the cutoff for PvP in your posts. Are we correct in assuming that rating could have been earned until the server shutdown on the 25th? There seems to be confusion among the player base. Some people believe the cutoff was at 10 PM when PvP was disabled, as the crests were switched off as well. However, this would seem really unfair without any official warning from you
So Blizzard will not update the information about the title cutoff, but then they give the Tempered Hero title to players who were 3200rio in Season 1 and pushed post-season to 3500rio and got title. Good job BLIZZARD
As Enåna mentioned above ppl who werent even near the tittle cutoff when the season ended got the 0.1% tittle today by pushing in postseason when the new scaling was already in place and keys were 3-4 keylevels easier than during the actual season. Also this thread was updated by Blizzard to the final 3484 rating couple days after the season actually ended but about 5 days before post season ended. That means that if ppl were able to push the whole postseason there is actually much more ppl than 0.1% getting the tittle.
To me it doesnt seem justified that you were 3200 rio when season ended and then pushed the same difficulty level keys compearable to your 3.2k rating in postseason (due to scaling changes) and suddenly you are now entitled to 3483 worth of title. And yes, I do know ppl who had 3200 or less during the season and got the title today due to pushing in postseason.
What’s the point of the “M+ 0.1% title” if you gave it to people who achieved it in the post season, where the keys were much, much easier? This is complete absurdity and a lot of wasted time for those who were trying to achieve the title during the actual season. Are you planning to do something about it? There are a ton of characters with an achievement who were not eligible for the title in the actual season.
It seems that wasnt the case though. Seen multiple reports of people pushing to title range in Postweek and getting the title.
Which is further supported by the ingame scoring system not having a post season score, but rather still the s1 score you continued with for that week.
