Since the raid opened, we’ve closely tracked the performance of groups in Naxxramas at all difficulties. We’ve now concluded that The Seal of the Dawn item will stop increasing at Rank 7.
This means there is no increase this week, and you will not have to spend Remnants of Valor if you are already at Rank 7.
If you have additional Remnants of Valor, you can spend them on Argent Dawn Valor Tokens or send them to alts via the mailbox to upgrade your alts’ Seal of the Dawn or increase their Argent Dawn reputation through Argent Dawn Valor Tokens.
i do understand and i think it’s a good spot to stop.
But i kinda was lookin forward to blast with r10 too…
first capping it for 0HM and now capping at 7 feels kinda lame tbh
i get that you looked at the data and saw that 2/3 raids cleared H4 with a rank 7 seal easy last week that is true. but have you OVERLOOKED that those raids did it with 30+ people?. mosts raids/guild that do the raid with the intended 20 people still struggle to clear a H4 and kept looking forward to higher seal upgrades. now those raids/guilds are forced to get more people in a 20 man raid…
Typical classic blizzard devs without product and project managers.
Dont know WHAT to do. Dont know WHEN to do. Dont know HOW to do.
Capping it makes no sense. If players wanted it capped, they can literally use whatever rank they want as they’re all available from the NPC. Dumb players want to control how other groups play because they can’t help but treat themselves as the main character.
Either remove the seal entirely or uncap it. Arbitrary cap based on the devs’ friends killing a thing is idiotic. We all know who is asking for it, and we all know how they communicate it to you.
They could have reduced the bonus and made the leveling continue.
There is more point on farming Valor now which will dramatically reduce groups for Kara, Strath, Scholo & Invasions.
Well, at least make a rank 8 with 22.5% damage increase.
It would add only 10% to our overall damage, not a big difference, and the number is more proportional to 100 than 21.25%.
So 20 people struggle to clear the hardest difficulty, working as intended? Be thankful the option even exists where you can actually go over 20 and get your easymode loot.
The raid was a joke already at seal rank 6, if 20 people struggle to clear with seal 7 they either are undergeared, and need to farm HM 3 a week or two longer, or there are some skills/coordination issues and those people simply have to fail some more till they get better, improve.
I know players that are absolutely awful that managed to clear mythic in a group of 20 with seal rank 6. You are being silly if you think rank 10 seal wouldn’t have made “mythic” naxx an absolute sad joke even with locking it to 20 players max.
Bosses are still feeling like private server bosses with no scripting, just a big target dummy that dies in ~40 seconds before any abilities even go off…
In an ideal world we shouldn’t have had so many difficulties and world buffs - these are toxic as hell as, sweat guilds can pop them for one moron “pumper” that died on trash while casuals have to do without in case they wipe.
The current world buff consumable situation was supposed to help casuals but I think it just made things easier for hardcore groups while barely helping casuals. And the power disparity between having and not having world buffs is MASSIVE.
