First of all you still have to invest a lot of time just not so much that you need to quit your job and divorce your wife. Second of all after Naxx release the new ranking system should have been added at the latest. because it doesn’t make sense at all to have weaker gear that’s harder to get than stronger gear…

this game is in massive manipulation from “elitists” especially Vanilla with the Worldbuff meta
most PvE players are following some nevrosed min-maxers who need everything to be perfect like the floor of an hospital, it became mandatory in the brain of people that they have to clean all raids 100% without an error, its almost more than a real job

Agreed, cant even join world pvp groups without pre bis crafted pvp gear, consumes and engineering items.
Its like FFS its 1 week of world pvp capped at 30k honor just have some fun

they are crazy serious, this goes too far in their brain
it happend something similar to me last night
i never cleared BWL AQ and Naxx, and i’m on top 10 EU PvP players,
the cleaning of raids and consumables/ worldbuff brainwashed people, they don’t really need that to enjoy the game… but PvE meta-minmax is a hard virus
i shouldn’t say it to keep my identity secret but… that was me the human warlock who came alone in Orgrimmar today at ~2pm on Thunderstrike (yeah i play on PvE server but we can PvP there 
)
I killed 1 warrior, 1 mage, 1 rogue → all lvl 60 and better geared than me, i killed them between the guards in the middle of Orgri on the AH and the bank
and 2-3 other 60 bonus that were afk but pvp tagged 
for who ever who was there and read this 
just dinged 60 this morning so i came to Orgrimmar to celebrate it
and everybody stood up and clapped
just sharing my cool story that everybody on earth want to hear about on this forum
