Just me who want this back? Would make BG specific rep farm soo much easier. And i am not talking about marks of honor but the old school ones you could trade in for extra reputation and such which they removed in WOTLK and made into honor with Cata.
You mean when you needed something like 20 AV and 10WSG marks for gloves (i know not exact number) that brings a smile to my face as my mail box was always full haha
well, idk if that part would be liked but personally i would like them return to ease the huge pain in the a$$ that is BG rep farm
I don’t think i ever reached lvl 40 back when these tokens were still a thing so i have no idea how it felt as a system (rather an extra reward or a chore ?)
I don’t think they would work that well… i mean, we would have like ten different tokens mostly rewarded from random BG right ? That would make a lot of unnecessary confusion and i don’t really see what use it would have in the current PvP System.
Reputation ? Sure but it could also be a rep token obtained as a BG reward right ? The battleground reputations are also currently useless so i don’t see why it would be worth farming.
PvP Items ? We already get an item per daily win & a chance to get another one after each BG.
At this point it would feel like bringing back an old reward system just because it’s old, without any other purpose than nostalgia. Unless you had another idea in mind.
Or they could make the current marks actually useful …

True though could always be simplified as alot of things has evolved over time with WoW.
Some people would probably want the specific tabards and the AV mount which always is something to grind for.
That part could be scrapped all together as the new system is better ofc.
Well, they have their use. PvP transmogs and PvP mounts. Though it could always be expanded, like they add the old BG marks into Rep Tokens for that specific BG faction.
And thats not even the worst part, then youd have to find the vendor

Personally I gave up BG reps, got AV to exalted eventually but gave up on the others. Very small gains for sometimes huge amounts of time compared to get them.
Yeah, same here. I to some degree want the other tabards aswell but since the rep gain is piss poor it would be nice to either bump it or bring back the old tokens that was removed with WOTLK made into Rep tokens or such.
They have absolutely destroyed the BG reps.
If you do WSG during the 10 flag-cap brawl, you can get Exalted in one weekend.
AB rep can be done with instant queue vs bots during the AI brawl with a 100% winrate as you cannot lose.
And both WSG and AB rep values have massively increased since Vanilla (I think this happened it WoD), you now only need an average of about 80 or so games played (not wins) to get Exalted in AB. I think you need even fewer games for WSG if you do it during the brawl, although I’m not sure of the number.
In WSG you used to get 35 rep per flag cap, now you get 100 rep per cap and an additional 100 rep for a win.
In AB you used to get 10 rep per 160 resources, now you get 50 rep every 100 resources.
The marks certainly do not need to come back.
Sounds like you want more rep from BGs, in which case why not suggest more rep from BGs instead of this pointless middle man.
