We’ll see.
I agree with the video you posted.
We need more stat combinations from the PvP vendors.
I was planning on coming back to WOW for shadowlands (after a 8 year break). But this is a deal breaker. No subscription with this PvP system in place
What is slightly interesting is on beta right now, crit is 200% in pvp and not 150% which makes crit more valuable. Imo it should stay so they balance it better - but they probably wont and we get mythic drest people one shotting others.
And with posts like this i wonder how people cant see difference between possibility to minmax by having few pve items and pvp gearing being literaly unviable at all. People having 90% pve gear atm.
If we talking about beta - 670 bgs played to have mythic 0 gear? Yeah wotlk was like that right? Also wod.
Yeah with 30 min ques atm its a lot
Friendly reminder that under EU Consumer protection law you have a good case of getting a refund on SL for false advertising by Blizzard
If the gear had a pvp stat or actual good stats in the first place you would find bg queues would get quicker as people who actually enjoy pvp would go back into the bg formula to obtain gear instead of spamming mythics. People aren’t queueing bg’s right now or in bfa because there is no reward. Why queue bgs you spend much longer farming for the pvp item that then comes with trash stats when u can spam a few mythics and target gear u need. Right now it’s a lose lose situation and without changes shadowlands will be the same
Thats why we all love living in EU, atleast i do
In my opinion PVP vendors should not sell gear, instead they should sell components that can be crafted into full sets using the components to choose what secondary stats and ILVL the gear has.
and obviously this would be independent of crafting professions.
totally disagree again if the gear is rewarding the time doesnt matter its not arena mini game wow its world of warcraft that includes alot of other pvp stuff that should feel rewarding and fun not only arena
I don’t know. If a PvP Season is around 20 weeks long, then there’s only so much grinding a player can squeeze in during that time.
There should ideally be a sense of completion by the end of the Season - that you’ve managed to acquire the gear you wanted.
But if the acquisition demands that you do 600 Battlegrounds, then it’s a rather daunting goal, because the reward doesn’t really match the effort it requires during the available time.
PvPers obviously need a smooth and steady sense of gear progression, regardless of how good the gear is.
