PvP is a mini instanced game within World of Warcraft, but really could be more with a little love and attention.
My bias is that’s it’s the main reason I’ve played all these years, same as for anyone on my friends list and real life friends who play.
I’ve played other MMO’s as well and think WoW could draw some inspiration (and even improve upon) from certain features regarding PvP, like specific PvP zones and vendors similar to Final Fantasy XIV and Guild Wars 2.
PvP Zone
Own area of the world (preferrably city size) with PvP item vendors (gear, cosmetics, mounts, etc.) and designated areas for dueling like a Coliseum Arena where you can spectate from the stands.
Something like the Dueler’s Guild system you queue up for there could also work here.
Player Housing/Garrison system
A wish would be for player housing in this area that could zone like the garrisons. A place to show off your years of PvP. Doesn’t have to be only this area of course, player housing is a much desired feature that helps improve the enjoyment of the game by showing off, relaxing, community events, etc.
A dedicated WPvP zone with unlock-able cosmetics would be an incredible addition to WoW.
I spend most of my time in-game, either doing Blitz or WPvP. And I think with Dragonflight improving WPvP, that this would make it even better. And then have one safe hub in the middle of the area, where you can get the WPvP gear from the vendors they introduced in DF.
hard truth is.
everyone does PvP when PvE drys up.
when people start realising that WoW has always been about the PvP interactions and less " its a minority " mindset, we can move forward with better patchs and content
since the dawn of time, people played WoW to play with and play against other players.
PvE is not evergreen, its do the curve get the gear. log out. no1 does raids every week like it was exciting the first time.
PVP on the other hand is infinitely more replayable due to the nature of it.
