Better yet for BG heroes like me, allow me to use the otherwise entirely useless marks of honor to upgrade the item level on my pvp items as seen with benthic items.

Those marks of honor have been next to useless the entirety of BFA, once you had bought the recipes and you had the potions you wanted (which could only be used in unranked battlegrounds anyway).
