Must be fixed. It´s annoying as hell seeing your cc be broken by the miniscule damage of this dot. I would argue no fire dot should break it, just like it used to be.
Could you please take care of classes like pre wod again? Class design is still extremely underwhelming and oversights like these are jarring to me.
Dragon’s Breath breaking on dots is costing people rated games. Its absolutely abysmal class design. No other class in the game has CC that breaks from its class’s other mechanics. If anything, this just proves no developer is maining the mage class.
The most retarded caster specs in wow history are actually frost and arcane at the moment. They’re so bad they make good players and high skill level plays equal to being a complete retard because they are so useless.
On a serious note, frost and arcane are just as broken as fire is mechanics wise with bad design interactions (Clearcasting negatively interacting with Arcane Power/Cold Snap not resetting Triune Ward/Frozen Orb without the honor talent not registering on targets that are too close; to name a couple out of a 100 bugs). You might wanna focus your negativity elsewhere
This is not negativity, it should be a bug, or at best an oversight.
Why t f should we not point out obvious design faults? It´s not a competition between specs. I´m sure we all would like to play a mage class that is both fun and functional across all three specs.
Blizzard are a multi billion dollar company, ffs. They need to do better.
