QA is abysmal

Happened to all my chars using the Stormwind portal in Tanaris.

Oh wow that takes me back! I remember playing that when it first appeared on the Interwebs

British customers are the worst. They always throw out ā€œI’m going to contact trading & standards!ā€. Shame, it’s a company for UK based companies and has no impact whatsoever on Europe/International companies, which are not based within the UK.

Also, the Dutch are terrible for doing chargebacks on purchases and wonder why their accounts/purchases have been blocked, and they can no longer use their credit card/debit card (I think they use ideal if I remember correctly) and then complain that it’s not fair xD

Doing chargebacks months down the lines because you want your money back, is fraud, but Dutch banks are pretty bad for upholding those kind of banking laws.

Man, I can tell you stories about being a GM :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

There should an achievement for that. I’m sorry for making light of that. it would be super annoying.

Trading standards don’t investigate individual complaints now, it’s all national.
However Blizzard do have a legal presence in the UK.

When a retailer and purchaser make a transaction on a card they agree to the money processors terms. A chargeback is a dispute resolution mechanism from the card processor which the retailer can dispute.

It’s not fraud. It’s a civil dispute.

Actually, when a chargeback is done with malicious intent to get money back from a service/purchase, it’s chargeback fraud, not a civil dispute. This is why companies have a refund policies and timeframes in place

But again, the Dutch are terrible for abusing this system, as their Ideal system allows people to chargeback purchases far beyond the normal timeframe.

I wasn’t referring to Blizzard :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m sure companies can dispute the chargeback. Companies have timeframes and refunds due to EU law.

Yeap, I know the EU forced their refund laws onto companies.

I know banks can reject a chargeback request from a card issuers, but it’s pretty rare. Normally most companies, where a chargeback is issued, will terminate the account(s) associated with it.

So in WoW, if a person does a chargeback on a monthly sub, their whole WoW account is banned.
