It behaves like a ground mount.

I learned this a couple of days ago too.

I was hoping that the flying mounts which don’t work with Skyriding, would fly normally.

But Blizzard can’t be expected to cater to every single whim some players might have.
I would argue that the vast majority will set one of the two flying styles and virtually never change it.

I really miss my old flight form. When questing you can quickly lose all your vigor while hopping about, and for flight form to not be able to take off without it is so frustrating.

Then to change it steady flight is a 5s cast, and then 5s cast to return to sky riding. It is so awkward and frustrating.

I really feel like I’ve lost something that was pretty core to the Druid experience with this patch. I’m now going to have to manually switch flying styles every time I want to quest or pop around town.
