Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race - 2024 (Part 1)

It made sense to bring the blood elves in the horde that existed when tbc released.
The blood elves that had that struggled with there mana addiction and sucked on fel crystals.
The blood elves that had more of a dark elve vibe they made sense.
What didn’t made sense was to revive the sun well in the same freaking add-on.amd return them to be normal elves without problems.

And yes in the end the horde mostly got the elves cause the horde needed a pretty race.
But that wasn’t cry baby’s that was a major concern for faction balance and I honestly think that the game would not have lived for more then wotlk if the balance had remained that way.
The fact that the balance the shifted to much and we had the opposite problem sucks tho but doesn’t negate the first problem.

The void elves fit just as much into the alliance as the cursed werewolfs.
Some dark edge is good even for a light faction.

When it comes to the model I know why it would be cool to have a different high elve model but that would break the lore.
Blood elves didn’t evolved into something else they just changed there names.

In the end I get why alliance players want high elves and you should have get them instead of void elves.
Now everything is super wonky cause it would be another situation like with the tauren orcs and draenei.
You would have the same race twice without any real visual differences and I don’t know how thrilled the majority of players would be abit that.

Who needs sense when we have impeccable style?

But yes, this meandering corpse that used to be a thread is a repetitive and dull thing to revisit by now. Though I suppose some of the fanart and creations have been moderately interesting.

This argument is no longer valid since KT humans became a playable race that have a different model than SW humans.

Yes kt humans as much as like the model are incredibly stupid.

Should we just do more stupid stuff?
Then give me one forsaken race for every race that’s out there that can be redirected.

This is already possible with death knights.

I knew you would say that.

By the same logic we already have high elves for both factions.

What’s surprising is that void elves are blood elves but they don’t have blood elf customizations (hairstyles, green eyes…).

Yeah that’s stupid for all copied races.

Void elves do not have all the blood elf customizations (especially hairstyles) to have a complete high elf appearance.

Yeah I know that’s a stupid decision they made for all the copied races.
They should all have all the customisations of the parent race

Yeah I saw that clip too.

I doubt when he said that Alleria might join the Horde. She has hated the Horde for decades so seriously doubt it but nothing says Umbric won’t join the Horde. Also how would that work with Her husband. Both been through the second war against the Horde and 1000 year war with the Legion. Umbric however does not have much loyalty to the Alliance or the Void elves. His words As long as you teach us, we will fight for Alliance. But She has not done been doing that, so during the Dark heart quest many Void elves were angry at her. Which could sway some of the Void elves loyalty towards the Horde.

Blood elves leaving the Horde and joining the Alliance…well I don’t think Blizzard would “dare”…to do that. Its more likely they become neutral in Midnight. So players can play however they want.

It Did not make sense as High elves was everywhere in Vanilla already part of the Alliance. Blood elves were not part of the Horde or Alliance. They were hostile towards everyone. However…If they stayed the course as I said that would have difference between the Blood elves and High elves. High elves was struggling worse then Blood elves as they did not stoop as low and started using darker powers like FEL, Necromancy and Blood magic and then Void magic that was later found out. They instead hold on to their morale and only siphon mana from magical artifact which made Alliance High elves pale and they lost the glow in their blur eyes and got almost human like eyes. Many of the Old and young died of Alliance High elves. Blood elves did not have that dilemma as they quickly took up darker powers. That’s why Blood elves did not have pale skin and their eyes was still glowing and some embrace too much and became withered. Running around outside Silvermoon.

The Horde players asked for pretty race and Alliance asked for High elves and Blizzard thought “Lets kill two bird with one stone and give Horde Blood elves” even if they said for years!!! that there is not enough High elves to make them playable. Blizzard could instead made a new race that was pretty, yet used wild magic, and savage. To stay true to the Horde’s identity. As they done for the Alliance. But they didn’t did they? Like The Draenai did not exist in Warcraft so they used the Broken’s Lore to created a new race, the Draenai and if you know that Blizzard did announce the Alliance playable race until very close to release of TBC.

But if Blizzard had kept the Blood elves as they were in the begining of TBC then it would have made sense for Blood elves were in the Horde. The Blood elves were more Empire while Alliance High elves were more kingdom, well like the old High elves. And yes the idea for blood elves was they were to become more like dnd dark elves as seen of the old pictures before TBC and eventually the next step would have been becoming Void elves as Void is stronger than FEL. But we countinue asking for High elves during TBC and Blizzard again did the “Kill two birds with one stone” and made the Sunwell patch and is so destoying the Blood elves story of gaining more power and then point of the Blood elves going for darker power. And now the Blood elves anger and hatred is now gone as that is what Fel does as it feeds just like what happend to the orcs and Blood elves have become more and more as they were when they were High elves. And they can’t say anymore, “remember the sunwell” as it is now reignited. And we never asked for that and we countinue asking for High elves and in WOTLK Blizzard created The Silver covenant and we got to do quest for them and they were like how High elves were back in warcraft 2. Riding unicorns and hippogryphon like their ancestors did the High borne and the Silver covenant was part of the Alliance as Halford Wyrmbane had already recruited them in to the 7th legion aka the Alliance. After WOTLK we wanted to play as them. Blizzard just made the Zul’amon patch to give us content. WE still kept asking and in mists they thought by trying to make Silver covenant evil we would stop asking for them…we did not stop asking for Silver covenant High elves to be playable.

No…it goes against everything the Alliance. All the races in the Alliance is against. The Alliance stand for the Light and have been for long long time. That is what connects the races in the alliance. Void elves in the Alliance is destyoing its Idenetity. s or right now its there is no point calling it Alliance anymore. Even the worgen is for the Light as they always had as they are humans. There is even a cure for the worgen curse but they choosed “not” to cure themshelves as they see it as part of them now. They always was human and was part of the alliance in the past so they make sense in the Alliance. Dark egde sure if it make sense. Void elves don’t, they go against everything the Alliance stand for. Surprisingly none in the Alliance (In game npc) was against this in Legion expansion which is very very weird. This could been a big reason for the Alliance to split off in to smaller factions as most a very heavy devoted to the Light in the Alliance and still are.

I always thought in the past before Cata that worgens be part of the Horde as there was alot of worgen and was against the alliance but Blizzard went a different route and also made it to a curse rather a race.

Dark iron is part of the Alliance but would have made more sense in the Horde as they been fighting the Allinace and Ironforge dwarves for long time. However Moira made herself leader of the Dark iron and taught them about “the Light” as she is a priest (although she is like Anduin wrynn now with heavy armor and weapon inhand like a paladin) So now the Dark iron have changed and is Light worshippers. Still would have like them to been with the Horde but since Blizzard had already made them part of the Alliance since Cata, it would be hard to change that. So Dark edge sure, but it has to make sense or it will never do. Broken is also part of the Alliance since cata but to change them to the Horde would made another High elf problem. And they are living in Exodar with the Draenai since cata.

The Draenai is alien sure but its the Light that connects them with the rest of the alliance so they would not work to be in the Horde.

The Arathi however can save the Alliance identity as they also follower of the light but also created something new with Light and arcane.

Nightborne however do make sense in the Horde they have no ties to the Alliance or humans/dwarves and also it gives the Horde Dark elves/Drow elves. Also considering we have accidentally cursed them with the arcane tree. They could become like the Fal’dorai in the future. That is like the DND dark elves with spiderlegs called Drider. Sure they have more of a more alien look of an elf thanks to the Nightwell but with armor on they kind of look like a Night elf from afar. And Nightborne are pretty much the same as Blood elves, only different is they did not have a setback with troll wars, The Horde wars etc.

Still makes them crybabies as it had nothing to do with the Alliance as they always blamed the Alliance for them having too few players. I played since beta of Wow and Horde always won PVP battleground. Always…no matter what, so what are they crying about.

If I had nothing to say I wouldn’t have said anything. That your only response was “NO” is pretty telling regarding how stupid and in denial you people are

This topic will only end when High elves become playable. And we are not alone. US people want playable High elves aswell and we have one in the Community team in US in the forums that chosen to be in there that advocating for playable high elves. You know the ones with gold title.

So we will continue for as long as we want, unless in Midnight we get playable High elves, …that will be the end of this topic.

People like you are also exhausting, coming in here and just complaning when you don’t have to click on the topic “AT ALL”. If it makes you so sick then go somewhere else. So simple. Why is that so hard for people like you? Start your thread asking for things for the game.

you know high elf fans have no arguments left when they rely on rage click baits to support their position. Literally the entire circus.

Nobody truly knows what is going to happen in 9 days from now.

So, everyone needs to pipe down with what will/will not happen because none of you actually know.

All we know thus far are:
Midnight cinematic reveal
Returning to the homeland of the Blood Elves
Light vs Void - Army of the Light stuff, as per Mr. Metzen (So LF and Draenei stuff)
Unite the scattered Elven tribes to fight the void.

Yes…says the Grand master of rage baiting. Even the US forums knows that about you Erevien.

Alliance High elves moved “home” to Silvermoon helping the Blood elves rebuild Silvermoon. Since the peace between the Horde and Alliance started. As It was “High elves” home for almost 6000 years.

Arator the Redeemer joined the Blood Knights.

Hmm…we see about , think they are too “busy” helping the OG Draenai to build their First major city on Azeroth in Kalimdor. More likely it will be the Arathi are coming to Silvermoon’s aid.

He said it, so the Army of the Light are going to be there.

This will fall in line with the Blood Elves since they are the only known Elf faction that has a strong ally with the Army - them being the Blood Knights of Quel’Thalas

That as it stands today, is irrelevant because you don’t know any of that.

All we have from Chris and Ion is that we’re returning to Quel’Thalas, the homeland of the Blood Elves as they put it.

That’s all we’ve got and they know what Quel’Thalas is today because they’ve said it, themselves.

The idea that the Sin’dorei are not going to be used, merged, disregarded is just a fanatics wet dream and nothing more.

Isn’t Midnight gonna be about Elven Reunification too

Well yes but no one said the elves leave their factions. Which would make no sense at all. The elves are the most interesting when they are at odds.
