Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race - 2024 (Part 1)

Honestly dude, maybe the 2 faction system is the actual issue. Elves would be cooler as a separate faction, and the Horde would be cooler without Elves

No they wouldn’t. That’s just the cope of high elf fans who still refuse to accept that Warcraft 2 is long over. The various elves are fine where they are now.

You didn’t understand the situation…
They (blood elves) will not leave Quel’Thalas/Silvermoon, they (high elves, void elves…) will return to Quel’Thalas/Silvermoon because there will be an elven union/reunification.

To fight the void yes. The elves will continue to be in the factions they were in before. Suck on that. Now troll somewhere else.

Or the faction barrier falls completely and then you can either choose any race for any faction or the faction are little more then a cosmetic choice.

Ever since I saw that YouTube short I am thinking that that could also be what happens in midnight.

I mean look at the housing that comes in midnight you need a horde character to buy the house but every character can use it so my forsaken can live in the nice alliance neighborhood and no one cares

Neutrality will be the new beginning for the elves of Quel’Thalas.

Broken record lol. Blizzard won’t listen to a vocal minority.

Okay, get ready to visit Ranger General Alleria in Silvermoon for your quests.:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I could honestly deal with neutrality but by god can we please get rid of her?

Impossible, there will probably be Turalyon and Arator too.

She’s great so

So long as the Blood Elf and High Elf stories are treated with respect and the two races stick to their actual principles, then I’m happy.

I hate this “we’re all the same, we think the same” nonsense. Blood Elves exist because they think differently from High Elves and vise versa.

How can High Elves be playable in any sense where they’re linked to Silvermoon along with the Illidari and Warlock Sanctum Guild when those Blood Elves are everything the High Elves aren’t and wouldn’t stand for in a million years.
Vereesa Windrunner and Auric Sunchaser are the exact opposites to Kayn Sunfury and Shinfel Blightsworn.

Yet we know the scattered Elven tribes might possibly involve not just Void Elves and High Elves, but also the scattered Blood Elf tribes like the Scryers, Illidari, Sunreavers…the Sin’dorei Warlocks…neither the Sanctum Warlocks nor Illidari work with the High Elves because they have methods that are the exact counter to what the Quel’dorei stand for.

Alleria’s writing has improved in 11.2, she’s way less annoying now. If she was behaving the way she is now from the start of this expansion, I’d have liked her.

You still haven’t understood that the blood elves, high elves, void elves, darkfallen etc… are all elves of Quel’Thalas, they are all the same people.

They seperated for a reason and that reason should be acknowledged.

I will NEVER accept Quel’dorei standing shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Shinfel and Kayn because it’s not their character and they actively chose to step away from people, like them.

I think both of you have a point. Reunification makes as much sense in the story as faction alignment. It depends in the end on what is decided. If there is a unification, I think there should really be a rework of faction to preserve world of warcraft’s theme and atmosphere. I think wow could easily have 4-5 factions

It can’t be ignored that the Blood Elves took a very different path than the High Elf exiles. Fel became a thing within Quel’Thalas via the Fel Crystals and later, Sunreaver Blood Magi - again, something specific for Blood Elves replaced the Fel Crystals with Blood and Mana Crystals after TBC.

Then we’ve got, possibly the most powerful Elven Warlock alive currently in Shinfel Blightsworn…who has lore with the Sin’dorei Warlock’s Sanctum Guild…again, I don’t ever recall such a Guild being a thing during the times of Anasterian and Sylvanas.

But it’s not just about these things being created…it’s the fact that the High Elves have always rejected them. Stood away from them. Repulsed by them. You can’t tell me that it would make perfect sense for somebody like Vereesa Windrunner to live happily in Silvermoon, along with Kayn Sunfury or Shinfel Blightsworn or even Allari the Souleater.

For me, that spits all over the Quel’dorei principles, which is why I love both Quel’dorei and Sin’dorei so much, because they took different routes with a conflict of interest and it made both work so brilliantly in the Warcraft universe.

I wouldn’t want the illidari to join such a thing simply because I wouldn’t want them to be demystified

But Shinfel isn’t Illidari.
She works with the Council of the Black Harvest but has lore with the Sanctum Guild in WoW.

We can’t just delete Blood Elf Warlocks from the game, so it fits around the High Elves either.

The only answer is to build the High Elves a separate home…perhaps in the unused area of Quel’Thalas or in Crystalsong, where they establish their own laws, it’s Alliance only and they have their own rules and regulations that must be followed and respected.

What if Eastern Plaguelands got cleansed, and Stratholme got restored with a high elf district as the alliance hub. Would be cool, but we will know in a week what happens
