Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race - 2024 (Part 1)

That is your opinion. Blizzard owns a game. If they say Blood elves are Horde for reasons now then that is something everyone has to accept.

High elves are night elves, blood elves are high elves, void elves are blood elves

Dark Trolls → Night → High → Blood → Void

They’re all the freaking SAME. You also have Nightborne that are descendants of the night elves. You’re just being obtuse when you say “AksHuaLly EvERyThinG iS hIgH ElF”. Void elves are the same as high elves in the same way that dark trolls are the same as night elves

And Blizzard made it real. This is not an argument you can win. If Blizzard decided something done by a fan was canon, then it becomes canon.

There is no ‘taking into consideration’ or qualifications. Either something is canon or it isn’t, and if it is canon it is canon until it is retconned. Which this hasn’t been.

So your complaints about the process, or origin are irrelevant. This is canon. The Blood Elves entry into the Horde was explained. And ‘they tried to execute the lot of us’ is a pretty good and understandable reason for why they soured on the Alliance in the first place, subsequent betrayals such as the purge of Dalaran didn’t help matters.

No, because you’re ignoring part of the lore that seperates the Night Elves and Nightborne from Dark Trolls, and all 3 groups of High Elves from the Night Elves.

The lore even proves that Night Elves, High Elves, Dark Trolls, and Nightborne are all different races. And the lore even shows that the Blood Elves, Void Elves and High Elves are all the same race.

So, you’re ignoring the “same race” part, and just skipping over to descended…

The leaks indeed show that something will happen to her. I wont discuss leaked story content here for now, but its a strong possibility. And if she gets to be the Ranger General as the painting implies, oh my, ill get popcorn for the forums here.

It’s because not enough time has passed for them to be cited as “different races” in the lore yet

But the same applies for void elves. Void elves is the same race as blood elves, yet you seem to ignore that?

It would be a truly beautiful ending to Midnight if there was some type of ritual they could undergo at the Sunwell, cleansing themselves from void, fel, or death-corruption to become regular elves again. With some choosing not to, obviously.

Perfect setup for a neutral Allied race leading up to The Last Titan.

I mostly agree, but Void Elves are not the same. They bleed purple now and have void based powers. Also they are sprouting tentacles. They are a different. A variant.

Has nothing to do with time.

May not be the same, but the lore does still support them being the same race.

This is like what? Second time Alliance saves the Blood Elves?

More likely than not the Elf part of the plot will be dealt with at the conclusion of the Sunwell raid and we will be going elsewhere for 12.2 to bridge to 13.0, with 12.1 already confirmed to be Troll focused.

Yes? The timeline between night elves and high elves are a seperation for thousands of years. High elves didn’t become high elves overnight

It is called Evolution. The Night Elves evolved from Dark Trolls. The High Elves evolved from the Night Elves.

I think the Elves will be returning to defend their homeland, and as such you will choose your political affiliation. Its obvious Silvermoon is becoming the next Dalaran. Hence why mixed leadership.

Oh so now it is time? You just said a second ago that it was unrelated?

But anyways, as I said void elves and blood elves are the same biologically yet you have no issues with them existing. How come?

Yes that is why they went out of their way to tell Horde players they were reserving the part of the city for their use and then decorating the city with Horde iconography.

You say that, but you wait until later into Midnight, especially when the Alliance and Horde go back to war with each other.
