Except the Haranir are the exception because their narrative was the one that was interrupted.
The Elves will be moved past when we are with the Vrykul, Frost Dwarves and Tuskarr. As the Earthen have been.

Keep in mind Void Elves are also non-Blood Elf Quel’dorei. High Elf Wayfarers made their way to Telogrus Rift as well.
How else can you “reunite the Elven tribes” long-term, than having the Elven tribes offered a governmental stakeholder position in Quel’thalas. My money is still on Rommath getting outed as a Twilight agent and replaced by Umbric.
What makes you the judge of that?
Everything seems to suggest that Midnight is a rushed expansion, pulled out of somebody’s backside at some point in 2022 or 2023 when Metzen returned (hence the dodgy CGI in the cinematic).
With that in mind, I think it’s equally possible there will be lots of ‘exceptions’ throughout the Saga.
Those High Elf Wayfarers did get removed in Dragonflight, and replaced by even more Silvermoon Scholars, for some reason. I suppose it was to push in the notion that VElves are indeed Blood Elves, and are not pooling in manpower from HElves.
Not present for a while. Just Silvermoon scholars at the moment.
Maybe the reason is they all became Void Elves by the time Dragonflight arrived. ![]()
Or retconned. At the moment only blood elves are present at telegrus and as such im working with up to date events and information.
Because the Haranir narrative WAS the one interrupted. We have copious evidence showing that. You are using an exception as a precedent which is never wise.
This is copium in other words.
If nobody said they were retconned, it’s a coin’s toss between that and assimilated.
Kind of like saying “for some reason there were a bunch of humans living in Lordaeron 30 years ago but for some reason they were all taken out, and now there’s only undead living there. Must be a retcon.”
Sure you can look at it that way, but we do have information on what happened to those humans unlike the wayfarers. Its just an assumption from you and to be fair from me. Either could be correct or incorrect. Altough im working on what we can see and patch notes. And in any case the Blood Elves are the vast majority of VE population.
I agree. I believe their assimilation was completed, a more elegant explanation for their absence than a pointless retcon. After all, with the Alliance High Elf population being so low, those who were interested in the void to the degree they wished to become Void Elves have probably all made the transition by now.
I didn’t say it wasn’t. I am well-aware of the fact that there are signs in Khaz Algar pointing to a “Rootlands” storyline which got delayed.
But you’re still missing (or ignoring) the point. Anything can happen in the Worldsoul Saga. They can introduce a race one expansion and make it playable two years later.
Regardless of why TWW was originally altered.
This is have to disagree with.
Right now if you use the natural skin tones, although they’re valid void elf customisation, people assume you’re role-playing a high elf.
Its muddied and adding high elf stuff (whatever that even is
) would only push that perception further.
It’s certainly a possibility.
That said, it’s important to point out, I feel, that there are other High Elven factions within the Alliance, still.
I agree it’s hard to say for sure. I will grant that you could be right.
You could be aswell. The ones present there could have made the transformation. There is no information about their whereabouts.
(Im out of likes but I appreciate you
)
The Man’ari are repentant. Whilst some focus on their racial having a unique graphic, they don’t focus on the fact it is still called Blessing of the Naaru and heals through the holy light. These are Man’ari DRAENEI, not Man’ari Eredar. They’ve a long way to go in their redemption, but they have begun.
And the Darkfallen are just undead void elves. Probably raised by Sylvanas during the fourth war after the distraction attack on Dazar’alor. We know they are Void Elves because of their racials. Those Darkfallen who died during the Third War went to the Horde and Silvermoon, again, the racials are a giveaway.
I dont have the tweet on hand, but we do have an answer about them (kinda)
The dev just forgot about them when updating the area and leaving them out was not intentional
Then that clarifies that. Oversight is human error. It is important as one of the complaints raised is ‘we want to be a High Elf who fought beside the Alliance’. This means you can have that roleplaying background, just as one who accepted the Void and became a void elf.
