The discussion for added High Elves for Alliance have been debated for a long time.
And it’s been discussed for a long time because it’s something a lot of people want.
People are here because they want something, that’s what forums are for.

you still already have playable alliance high elves with the void elf customizations, you just want a racial and i think its dumb to make a whole new race that’s just a copypaste of another race in the same faction just to give them a different racial
And you know who agrees with me? Blizzard clearly does because instead of giving you playable high elves as a separate race they gave them to you as customization options.

What we’re debating here is basically luxury heaven, the playability of a race in our favorite videogame… Even I am aware of how weird this would look for any person NOT playing WoW 
Hell, I can relate to that, that was the first thing in remix I absolutely despised!
Questing through the Suramar campaign is like a neverending story. Just when you thought, you’re done, there’s another “Gunther wants you to tie his showlaces while he drinks wine, on the other side of Suramar! Hurry, champion!” 
It was fine as a multi-week campaign back in the day but tying Infinite Knowledge to it was masochistic.

I recently got called facitious cause I said I feel bad for helf enthousiasts that their favourite race was turned into a customization option for another race, simply because I’d hate it if that’d happen to my favourite race.
Its a shame when people move away from the arguement and point their nails at the person.

This topic has been controversial for nearly two decades so please stop trying to act as if this is just another ordinary race request that is for some reason, unreasonably opposed.
You are asking to duplicate a core Horde race and always have done. Pushback is guaranteed and priced in. Is the High Elf discord still about? If you want a private conversation nobody else can see, you go there.

The “duplication” has already happened, Void Elves exist. The skeleton exists. The ones who want to play as High Elves can play with normal skin tones and normal hair colours, essentially identical to Blood Elves.
We simply want more customization to make the experience more authentically High Elven, just like Man’ari are playable as a Draenei.
It’s the least that can be done, at this point, without making any extra allied races.
Do ogres need to be playable?
Furbolgs?
Jinyu?
Hozen?
Taunka?
Vrykul?
Any race has mobs and NPCs but that says nothing about their realistic story relevance or popularity.
