Well, Metzen himself whilst introducing the Midnight expansion at the last Blizzcon said we’d be going back “to the old world, to the fabled lands of Quel’Thalas”.
My view is that his statement pretty much confirms that we will be having a revamp of QT which would obviously include Silvermoon.

Oh so it’s not even hinted, it’s just you talking nonsense.

Do you really think there will be a Horde capital (Silvermoon) and a new neutral capital in Quel’Thalas ?
That’s impossible !

No what they said is that the elven tribes will come together to fight the void. No one said anything about political unity.
Nothing is impossible. BFA also gave two different capitals.
Why not? We had the same hub twice that was neutral and had a zone for each faction so why not.
Rebuild the left part of silvermoon make it the neutral hub but alliance can’t enter the horde part aka what is now silvermoon
And now pls provide me with a reason why that is not an acceptable compromise. You get a bit of silvermoon to play out your highelve fanfic we get to keep our city everyone’s happy except hardliner that want all off silvermoon cause they are greedy and never get over the fact we got blood elves in bc

Yeah It would be cool if Silvermoon was like Dalaran!
There would be a neutral zone and horde/alliance only zones.
That’s the best solution for a neutral capital !
Who says you’ll have a capital? Silvermoon will be upgraded, taken out of the TBC era and so will the Exodar, which was already shown. A zone for both sides. Silvermoon might come first, but both cities will be upgraded.
Breaking news
There is a horde and alliance embassy in Dornogal, horde and alliance players can enter the embassy of the opposite faction, so the same freedom is needed for Silvermoon.

Needed? Who says it’s needed? You? Who wants to chip away at the belfs cause you are sad they didn’t go Alliance?
I think not.
If you want an embassy you can have one on the Sunwell island which will also be upgraded but it has been neutral since it’s creation.

You know what we really need?
We need for our characters to abandon both factions. Our characters should be treated as what they are.
Adventurers and mercs.
That way blizz can write engaging faction conflict story’s again without one side feeling like they are unfairly losing or that nothing happens at all
That way it doesn’t matter which race you have you can work for how you want.
Then it would not matter what happens to city’s or lands cause the conflicts can go in any direction and even change from expansion to expansion without it affecting us.
In one xpac we do quests for the orcs in an area and next expansion the nightelves reclaimed it just for it to be destroyed by the horde with the plague next xpac
No, we really don’t need that. WoW is a game that was built on Red vs Blue. Killing that kills part of this game.
And it would still be red Vs blue we as players would just not be “the general” or “hero” but just a sellblade.
You could still like the horde but the factions would get more room to move.
Believe me I am a die hard horde fan from day one but as of right now with us players bonded to the factions the whole faction war can’t exist anymore. That’s why blizz tuned it down.
And honestly the whole thing got kinda ridiculous.
We fought to death - big evil appears - we bond and win - we fight to death.
And there was not much movement in the conflict cause how could it be? Any win of one side needed a win of the other side. And it just doesn’t feela good when your side has to take a loss for the narrative.
When we are just mercs that would not hit us as much.
Yes because Earthens were always neutral. Blood elves started as faction specific and stayed this way for 17 years now-
See, you are using the fact that the WoW writing team was total crap, probably why some got booted, to justify this neutral stuff.
How about instead we ask for good writing, not ways to kill the game.

U know you are right.
It is 100% on the writing team that I think that way. And maybe that is not fair to the current team.
Maybe they can pull of good writing and even good writing in a war setting time will tell but I am at least a bit cautious till they have proofen that but I should give them a chance to proof it.
Btw while we are at it what would you think about all races for both factions.
I always thought traitors and defectors are quite a common thing. I mean why not accept a obviously powerful fighter just cause he might be an orc. Not that I want that just curious
Fair enough, you are free to keep your own interpretation if you believe a revamp will not happen and we’ll go to a new expansion having QT the way it is now
. We’ll see how your post ages when we get there.
I understand you are very much against High Elves in the Alliance from reading previous things you’ve posted but there is no need to be rude and tell me I’m “talking nonsense” when I have as much right of expressing my views as you do.

Honestly I don’t like the idea of neutral races. Never did since pandas became a thing. Felt lazy and it diminishes the uniqueness of each faction. Look, I don’t play Horde or Alliance exclusively, this game is way too interesting to reduce myself to a single faction, but when I play whichever side I want it to feel distinct from the other, not another copy of it and making so every race can be on whichever side not only diminishes that experience but also the faction’s respective identity. That is my opinion.
You trying to start some drama? That it? Cause I told you that your interpretation of how it’s gonna go down is nonsense you gonna run to the mods to silence me? That what you trying to set up here? If you don’t don’t want your statements to be called nonsense then don’t say stuff like that. Like how they are gonna make a horde city into a neutral one based on no evidence what so ever. That makes no sense, therefore - nonsense. If you want drama, you won’t find it with me. Sorry.
