Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race - 2024 (Part 2)

Still wondering why Vereesa saw Umbric killing Rommath in her visions.

I think that isn’t going to happen. Because:

I think it will sooner be Rommath as he remains hostile, plus Vareesa her vision shows a battle between him and Umbric and Halduron will step down in favor for Vereesa as they are on friendly terms.

As we know it’s a titan vision and not a void one so it could be coming to pass.

I assume Rommath will be the transgressor.

I assumed it, along with the rest of the vision, was just a “the void wins” warning and none of it will actually happen.

For the last time, they plan expansions well in advance. You can’t make them change their minds to add them in 12.1 or 12.2 even if they wanted to.

A stand alone allied race is 100% not happening in Midnight.

Basic rule of storytelling is that if you depict something in a prophecy but keep it as vague as that was (i.e. without context) it will unfold in a relatively unexpected way. This thread is trying to view those visions through a ‘how will it impact the elves’ viewpoint when it is was intended for the entire playerbase, the vast majority of whom don’t care and will be encouraged to view it from a more straightforward angle (what does it mean for the story).

So Umbric becoming the next grand Magister and Vereesa the Ranger General ? It would feel unfair to the Horde playerbase. But to me, high and void elves should be involved in Silvermoon’s leadership in some way

Please do not reply to my messages, I’m not interested in the opinion of a boring man. Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

He has every reason to be hostile to the traitors who kept harming the sin’dorei.

No they shouldn’t. Why should the alliance have any power when they will abuse it to harm our other Horde allies? You don’t see me asking for Eitrigg to become an alliance grand marshal.

are there any news about the High Elves? im not interest in confrontation with other people i just want to play as High elves been more than 20 years of waiting. Please Blizzard give us some justice dont ruin other elves just add high elves and everyone will be happy.

Because the High and Void elves are fighting too to save Quel’Thalas, their ancestral lands.

Well not always. Like in WOD Grommash Hellscream was suppose to be the last Boss for the expansion. They even promised when in the Q and A after they announced WOD at the blizzcon (remember “Its savage, everything is savage” quote that the lead dev kept repeating during Blizzcon) when they got the question “if” Grommash will “really” be the last boss of the expansion. And the devs answer was “yes 100% that Grommash will be the Last boss, we promise”…what happend?? Grommash was not last boss. The Legion and Archimonde was instead. So they scrapped/changed the ending of WOD. They did the same thing in War within. We weren’t suppose to meet the ethereals until Midnight and Haranir homeland to be in a patch for war within. They plan ahead sure but they can always scrapped or change later on. The Legion expansion was suppose to come years later then it did but they scrapped the expansion they had in mind after WOD which they decided after WOD was released to use the Legion expansion instead.

Like the demon hunter spec Devourer was suppose to be “Only” Void elf demon hunter spec as they reported back in October as well at Gamescon…yet now in Beta the Blood elf demon hunter “have access” to Devourer spec. Due to Horde players “demanding” it. So “anything” can change regardless how long they plan an expansion or…give in.

Well..we will see. There might be an Elven council in Silvermoon, between the different High elven factions. Like the Forsaken has a council, the Horde has a council, The Alliance has a council. So even after the Midnight expansion is over, 2/3 of Silvermoon and rest of Quel’thalas will still be neutral as it is part of a expansion and removing that means they have to remove an expansion and I don’t remember they ever removed an existing expansion (Shadowlands will still be accessible even if the devs are retcon what happend in Shadowlands). So years on the updated Silvermoon still be 2/3 neutral for the Midnight expansion regardless except for the 1/3 were they can still have only Horde content. Otherwise they have to revmap the entire expansion which I doubt Blizzard have “time for” or “want to do”. But the Horde players can always talk to the time dragon or go to the portal north or EPL and go back to the TBC version if they want Silvermoon to be only Horde.

Im still curious why Umbric laughed after killing Rommath “in” Vereesa’s vision. Never seen Umbric laugh. Happy sure but not laugh. Maybe we find out more on 2nd december.

They are sidekicks for humans and abandoned their nation when they were down. You don’t deserve anything. Especially not political power.

Continuing the discussion from Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race - 2024 (Part 2):

Yeah, a council would be great.

We have high and void elves fighting for their lands but still considered as outcast by the majority of their kin. That’s unfair for them.

In the same time, in Silverglade Refuge, some of them say they don’t feel at home anymore because of the Horde.

So what’s the answer for them ? Having access to the Sunwell and founding their own kingdom in Quel’Thalas while the blood elves hold Silvermoon ?

They made their choice to become servant’s of stormwind. That’s not our problem.

Yes we are Horde and that’s not gonna change.

Please Numriel. You’re allied with the orcs. They burned Silvermoon to the ground and killed a lot of elves.

You’re allied with the forsaken. They massacred the High elves during Arthas’ siege.

I’m on the right side and you’re really not.
