You make it sound harsher than it already is. They have belfs and velfs with the skin job. Blizzard isn’t gonna start a belf/helf race war over who gets exclusivity to the elf lore, that the belfs have since helf/belf story is theirs.
Anyway, does not matter, it won’t happen as long as this game is doing well. So helfers pray that this game is not gonna do well, hell, pray that more sex scandals emerge at Blizzard maybe you’ll get to rip off belfs a bit more like you did with the skinjob.
But consider that for you to get what you want a lot of vile stuff must happen. Yeah, that’s where you are.
I find fascinating all the unhinged scenarios you guys make up. Strongly advise therapy.

No it’s not a scenario, it’s a fact. We’ve seen how Blizzard throws stuff around when they panic. Ion made a fool of himself coming out and saying there won’t be any blonde fair skinned elves on the Alliance and when the crap hit the fan, he approved fair skinned blonde elves on the Alliance. Go look it up if you don’t believe me.
Also I find it ironic that I’m getting psychotherapy advice from a helfer.

No point in arguing. You could give them lore facts and things said by the devs as a reason to why helfs cant/shouldn’t/won’t be playable and its thrown aside as “ridiculous” while at the same time say nothing to counter it. It’s just “we’re getting them cus its midnight aka elfs”

That does not bother me. They can rant on as much as they want about what they want, it’s a forum after all. What bothers me is that they fake these situations where they pretend they are insulted or whatever, put words in your mouth then act like victims because I think they believe if they manage to silence you, they might just get their helfs. Like this guy above who acts like I’m defending that crap that took place at Blizzard some years ago, when I just pointed out that’s how they got their little belf ripoff skinjob. What a guy.
I can’t speak for the other pro helfers, but I’ve never said discourse was unwelcome. You’re more than welcome to voice your opinion about why high elves shouldn’t be added.
I do recall back in 2019 on the US forums when antis were mass flagging the megathread to get it shut down, but I’ve never seen a situation where the opposite happened.

Thanks for the shout out! I definitely have been wanting to play a Spellbreaker or Blood Mage since TFT, but I think you can already fulfil the Blood Mage fantasy already as a Fire Mage.
But a melee class that relies on arcane energy to fight would kick so much butt.
It looks like the Devourer Demon Hunter is trying to fulfil that space but it just seems a little… weird for me right now

And that is exactly what I’m doing. Even if some here don’t like it. And I also reacall some drama on these forums, actually, involving some rather distasteful worlds said to a guy who used to frequent these forums a lot before he passed away. He was against helfs too. Nasty stuff.
Blood Elves have their own separate story from the High Elves, and while they are linked through origin, they are no longer tied to the same outcomes, which we saw after the destruction of the first Sunwell.
Alliance High Elves exist in the world, and should be playable.
Blood Elves exist on both Horde and Alliance (Void Elves are exiled Blood Elves).
We literally have Umbric, an exiled Silvermoon Magister, running around for a large part of the questline of Quel’Thalas.
Blizzard should just take the W and introduce more Alliance High Elf customization / achievements at this point to make Void Elves more Alliance centered, like they did with the Amani and Darkspear Trolls.
I hope with future updates to the customization system we come have real Alliance Quel’dorei.

A loss of life is always a tragedy and for what it’s worth, I’m sorry for your loss.
We had someone who was so addicted to posted on the US forums it was genuinely taking its toll on his mental health. As it’s International Men’s Day, I would like to remind everyone to take care of yourselves mentally. Your mental state is just as important as your physical state.
