So game title what says High Elf? Then nameplate change not make anyone think that they added high elfs as race If that really is big deal what name plate race says.
Works with the new map (spoilermap)
definitely lordaeron territory

reading these comments i figure Thalassians are more divided than Draemei and Eredar. Just respect each other and share with each other haristyles and racials, you’re one big family hehe
they like to say “we are not the same race as you, vampires” so we have to consider them as well.
No more than gift dinner for amanis
Still, we can thank all of them too - they’re also contributing to the fact that soon the High Elves will become a playable race in the Alliance. Their constant activity keeps this thread at the top
Ah Ангеланика, still believing that this thread being spammed means anything. I mean a topic on this has been on the front page for at least a decade but why let facts derail you now, they haven’t yet.
You know Moontear at least had the good sense to accept the truth with the Midnight trailer and he kept at this for the longest period. Twenty one years since the game launched and nearly two decades since this request began in earnest and it has to be the saddest thing in gaming. Not boo hoo sad, more ‘they spent two decades waiting for what?’.
But hey given misery loves company, perhaps that ‘unity and support’ you are saluting is the real treasure. Perhaps it isn’t the High Elves you are never going to get, perhaps it is the friends you made along the way.
Now, you want a short comeback with few complex words, remember to ensure it is as detached from reality as possible, include as many emojis as you can fit into the sentence and then include a reference to the inevitability of High Elves.
Void Elves are High Elves. It’s not a different race from a biological perspective. Besides, having a toggle for Entropic Embrace doesn’t even begin to turn them into a different race, so I’m not really sure where you’re going with that.
They literally bleed purple. I don’t know about you but that if something started bleeding purple that previously bled red and told me it felt fine, I’d definitely say something has changed on a biological level.
That’s rich, coming from the guy who speaks as if though he were Chris Metzen on these subjects.
I can tell you being able to cite developer quotes and official interviews is a nice feeling. Far better than putting forward a cringing opinion based on headcanon.
Incorrect. I am suggesting a toggle which lets Void Elf players choose whether or not to turn blue during the influence of Entropic Embrace. You know, giving Void Elf players the choice to customise their Void Elf character the way they feel is the most appropriate for their interpretation of what their unique Void Elf character is like.
But go on, dear Blood Elf, and tell Void Elf players what they should and should not desire for their characters.
You’ve admitted it’s not for Void Elves though, but for High Elf fans who think Blizzard owes them for getting wrong. Why not a toggle where YOU don’t see entropic embrace but everyone else does, and the reason is you’ve gone quite mad and think the void doesn’t affect you anymore.
Of course the real issue isn’t customization, which is how you phrase it so that it becomes a matter of personal choice, but of lore and world building. I mean they did see on the character creation where it said ‘Void Elf’ right?. If they went ahead and built a void elf character then they accepted what meant.
Does it never occur to you that you are the one that’s selfish and greedy? (something you always accuse helfers of) - The duplication already happened, we can already look like High Elves on Alliance, now we just want to not have a passive that ruins the little immersion we have.
Not really no. And the problem with your argument that the duplication has already happened is that if the duplication had already happened you’d not be here and you’d be blissfully happy. You can’t on the one hand argue for more and on the other insist that ‘the duplication happened’. Pick one angle and stick with it, but spare me the ridiculous doublethink.
Who cares how or why
I guess I care, as do others. As does Blizz likely, which is why this probably won’t happen. I mean we know you don’t care, but thanks for confirming that.
It’s what the Silver Covenant Rangers say to Blood Elves at Silverglade Refuge. Can you take a joke for once?
I also never accused you of transphobia or racism.
I said that you formulate yourself like a bigoted uncle, but nice mischaracterization, as always.
Yes, you did hence why I am, oh what was the phrase you used? Insanely hostile, though it’s more in the ball park of a rational response. And so we are well past any attempt at jokes.
The whole point of a toggle is that it can be on or off, or in this case, one thing or another. It’s not a lot to add, however they decide to do it.
Yeah, about that, they aren’t doing it. They might replace the racial at some point, they’ve done that before, but they aren’t giving a damn toggle.
Just like you can toggle your Blessing of the Naaru to be Fel Green if you pick Man’ari customization. Blizzard has done it before.
Oh look, another point where an explanation has been given and you’ve decided to ignore and it repeat it. A habit of yours.
Now you re gonna deny the trigonometry i guess?
And what will you do, when IN-GAME it says Quel’thalas? Still use a “dated” map?
If you step on the water on the beach, front of silvermoon side near the dock it says “tirisfal glades” so…
There is no in game playable high elf
Should I call you…
Isn’t the solution to this to wait for someone to get into the beta and see?
That’s odd for it to say that given Tirisfal is so far away from the city. It would make more sense if it said the Eastern Plaguelands
Go check you ll see it says tirisfal
And why you re avoiding my map proof
Its lore based
Do you deny lore?
No I am claiming your maps are dated and not representative of the actual area ingame.
Which if I still had my pre-order, I would provide proof of.
I showed with the midnight map
I think it’s probably a part of Quel’thalas, it looks like they merged that area with the expanded zone. But it is on the very border of the zone, the extreme edge.
I think though this isn’t a very important question. Either they are just outside or barely tolerated.
And it’s clearly connected to Ghostlands, with a pathway leading up to it.

Clearly seperated by a mountain range and attached to Quel’thalas.
Are you telling me you re deny this?

See that? I think so too.
