Look - make no mistake, I want playable High Elves…I’ve always loved the old school “High Elf Farstrider” fantasy, but I know their is only 1 way to make them playable.
Have them completely void of anything to do with Quel’Thalas and the Blood Elves. They are on their own. They do their own thing. Have their own nation. In-still their own laws. They become their own race. Revamping Northrend in TLT paves the way for Crystalsong Forest to be the new home of the playable High Elves…with the Sunreaver force moving back to Quel’Thalas.
These High Elf fringe fanatics don’t speak for me and I’m glad they don’t because they don’t even know what they really want. To me, they want Blood Elves on the blue side.
That’s not what I want. I want proper playable High Elves, who have their own thing…just like Void Elves and Nightborne.

Yep all they want is to get the blood elves and silbermoon.

I askt them all multiple times why it was incredible important for them to also get silvermoon even so it would water down the high elves to blue blood elves.
They never answer cause then they would need to confess that they just want to take everything elvish for themselves

I implore Blizzard to ignore Moontear/Cylina/Shakim (they’re all 1 person and just multi-post and he talks to himself) because what they want isn’t what real High Elf fans want, and they know what is necessary for playable High Elves.

As much as I would wish for upright forsaken and forsaken paladins I surely hope this isn’t true at all.
Taking away a city from a faction that right now feels like they are second rate players isn’t exactly a good idea.
And just throwing some recoloured elves and trolls at us after people complaint like crazy about all the recoloured races ist stupid too.
Especially since there are more then enough unique races that would fit.
Just make highelves and forest trolls a customisation
Plus - I don’t know who Vareesa or Aleria are…
My expectation is a Zul’aman leveling zone and renown faction. Maaaaybe an allied race in the event Alliance gets high elves, as Amani would be the most sensible counterpart to that.
A zulaman zone would be cool.
But I still hope high elves and forest trolls are introduced as character customisations instead of a full race.
That would just be a recolour of a races that already have recolours.
High elves and forest trolls deserve to be true allied races, just so they have their unique customizations, heritage armor, mounts ect…
Maybe maybe not but not now.
We have enough elves and trolls. We just had dwarfs again and people where fed up.
We need a new truley unique race. Last time we got a really new race was vulpera and they also just share the goblin skeleton.
And yes I’m ignoring the lizards till the have transmog without they don’t count as more then a gimmick for the evoker class wich they obviously are if we are honest.
I’m not saying no to high elves and forest trolls.
I would die for arakkoa I won’t deny wishes for races but right now is not a good time
