Exactly, Ion said that we (Horde and Alliance) will return to Quel’Thalas.
Quel’Thalas and Silvermoon will still be Horde, but will become neutral at Midnight.
He also said:
“Yes. We will be returning to the lands of the Blood Elves. To Silvermoon and the lands surrounding it. To Quel’Thalas.”
That is the lead in all of this. We are going to the lands of the Blood Elves. Therefore, it will always be Horde leaning.
Indeed, we will be seeing how they’ve changed. It will be all a Blood Elf lead, which matches perfectly to what my contacts have been saying. The Elves will still be Horde.
They are not being deleted, merged, morphed into something else. The Blood Elves are and I quote from my contacts: “Here to stay, beyond Midnight. They will be still be on the Horde.”
The Alliance will return to the Blood Elf lands !
High Elves and Void Elves will return to Quel’Thalas and Silvermoon !

They can be made playable though.
They have ways to make proper High Elves playable and not just Blood Elves +
The only way to do that, is by making them properly, in the Last Titan where they take over Shandaral and Crystalsong Forest. The High Elves are then their own people with their own laws and nation.

Well that idiot who thinks High Elves and Silvermoon are going Alliance is too stupid to know the real High Elf cause and campaign which I have been apart of for many years. Believe me - many High Elf fans across both US and EU, 99% are like me - we don’t want High Elves at the expense of Blood Elves. We know High Elves can be their own race and don’t need to take anything from Blood Elves…as if Blizzard are going to risk repeating that again after BFA.
Ion has already stated that we’re going to the lands of the Blood Elves. It basically rules out any sort of -Alliance take over-. The Blood Elves are the leading race in this.
If Lor’Themar dies at Midnight, who will replace him?
It will probably be Alleria.
And if Alleria dies in Midnight, who will replace her? Probably between Rommath and Umbric.
