Fact indeed. Void elves and blood elves are both high elves , they’re both available to play. There won’t be anymore elves I’m pretty certain of it , and to be honest we have enough.
Bit of a silly argument that. You are conflating nationality with ethnic Species, when even a cursory look at a map of Europe would prove how ridiculous such an argument it.
Are you trying to argue that Americans are a different Species from Europeans (It wasn’t just the British, you need to chuck the French, Spanish and Dutch into your phrasing in order to make sense).
Are the High Elves still Kaldorei because of where they came from? By your logic they are, and as such you have playable High Elves on Alliance already, and have done since Vanilla.
Now the sensible answer is “No they are not the same” But that is the point. Blood Elves and High Elves -are- identical apart from diet and politics. Blizzard have even -stated- this. A High Elf of the Alliance, from say, the Allerian Expedition looks identical to a Blood Elf who lived in Silvermoon during TBC. A Blood Elf who lived in Dalaran during TBC would look identical to a High Elf who had never been exposed to Fel.
That is the fact of the matter.
Blood Elves once called themselves High Elves, now they mostly call themselves Blood Elves. This does not change their biological species, or to use your example, if I have a friend (as I do) who was born in England, and aged 30 moved to America and is now a naturalised American citizen and calls themselves an American does that mean that their species -changed- suddenly when they swore the Nationalisation oath?
No, of course not, that is crazy. That is the parallel you were trying to make there.
Yes, yes, I’m sure, but you still didn’t answer the two simple questions I put to you. I find that rather telling.
Well I suppose at least I hung onto it longer than you did, with your comments about Blood Elves and Fel, despite High Elves having Warlocks.
Also, who are you to gainsay my Empirical Evidence? Do you play on AD? Have you thought that maybe Mechagnomes are actually popular on RP realms and so I am stating the truth? I actually see a fair amount of them, Void Elves are the most popular Allied Race, Mechagnomes weigh in about the same as Lightforged Draenei, so not as many as Void Elves, but they’re not like a Unicorn, some mythical beast of legend that has never been seen. I’ll be making one myself when I unlock them. Just need to get my backside into gear and do Mechagon dungeon.
I don’t think that would be a good idea…not really, it would kind of destroy the point of what the Shadowlads are.
Ok, I now saw that Typo, and it was too good to correct, and desperately want the ‘Shadowlads’ to be some shady underground gang who sell dodgy smokes and knock off whiskey that fell off the back of a cart!
So do you just want a clone of the Blood Elf model, but on Alliance, with ‘High Elf’ as it’s race name being the only change? Yes or No?
Your RL views on people are well known and will continue to be made so until you apologise, your opinion in polite discourse therefore is neither required nor of value.
So do you want a clone of the Blood Elf model, but on Alliance, with Hgh Elf as it’s race name being the only change, yes or no? It is a simple question to answer.
Whilst they would be interesting, they fall afoul of the same problem as Centaurs being playable, How would they ride a mount? Why would they even want to?
They’d be a nightmare to implement. Cool, but I doubt we’d ever get them…
