Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race (Part 1)

Your macinations will not succeed. I will get what I want eventually.

What you “want” won’t happen. Sorry

If you don’t like it, play any other game than wow.

I will never stop fighting until alliance bias is defeated.

No she is right. If this was about the race you would just play Horde blood elves and call it a day. But this is about faction. You are entitled and want to steal stuff and give it to the Alliance because you are entitled.

Dear. High elves existed on the Alliance for a long long time. Even in Stormwind

We don’t want fel Drinking green eyed elves of the Horde.

Now we have Void elf looking High elves which is even better because they have some uniqueness.

Get over it. Play your blonde elf and leave us alone.

Blizzard gave us what we wanted. We win. You lose

You will never win, not while I have still enough energy to fight back.

You stole our model and our skins. It is never enough for you because you are entitled. I will never stop until there is only one thalassian elf race left in the game.

Awwww too bad That will never happen.

We already won :trophy:

Blizzard gave us these things. We didn’t “steal” anything since blizzard is the one who owns the game. Not you.

And using that same logic, Blood elves stole our Blue and Purple eyes. Give it back! Only then will we return the skin colors.

You will not win while I still draw breath.

You created ranting topics and blackmailed blizzard into making these decisions. They made a mistake and mistakes can be fixed.

It’s not a mistake dear. Go play any other game if you think so.

Blizzard won’t change it. Not while I and many Void elf players still play.

Have a nice day

It is a big mistake. It has the potential to undo all the things Blizzard has done for balancing during the past 13 years. Void elf RP is already dying because of it because everyone RPs them as high elves. It needs to be reversed and blood elves being once again the only playable thalassian elves in the game, I will not stop any sooner.

I’m gonna disagree on this part. The blue eyes were blood elves too originally. Not just on alliance. Purple eyes are a nice addition ill give you that and i will 100% use them since they look way better than the blue ones. Eyecolor doesnt make the race different, i personally wouldnt even mind sharing the green eyes, yellow eyes should stay on bloodies since it comes directly from the sunwell which you shadow boys and girls lack.

It WAS, not anymore, Ian even said: Blue eyes on blood elves don’t make sense

But of course this Was changed during Shadowlands because Both Void elves and Blood elves were given the “High elf flavor” meaning blue eyes goes to blood elves too

Same thing with the new purple high elf eyes going to both races.

And the eyecolor of the elves is from what magic they use right, so having blue eyes on void elves make no sense eather. Should have been dark or purple.
Lets just face it they couldnt give blood elves blue eyes without pissing alliance players off and probably vice versa. Let’s just be happy we have the options and now the incoming purple and leave the finger pointing.

Pretty much this.

I agree :100:

I think you will find when it comes to Alliance players crying on forums, they don’t need that many, you are quite nobly tanking that all on your own. Well, and being a meme, and mocked, and factually incorrect, but yeah… Moving on.

Nope!
You may now resume

Oh don’t be so melodramatic, at worst it is mildly annoying, but the sensible people are happy that their Void Elves can look like High Elves, Good for them, everyone’s a winner. And I doubt highly that you will persuade Blizzard to delete them from the game…Come on, for real?

Objection Your Honour! Blood Elves did not guzzle Fel anymore than the High Elves of the Allerian Expedition did! Felblood Elves are what you’re on about! :stuck_out_tongue:

To be honest, as things stand, everyone’s a winner. Void Elves can look like High Elves, so all is groovy.

Yeah, but on that, Ion freely admits he is not a Lore Guy, and he does have to keep climbing down from his statements. There have been Blue Eyed Blood Elf NPC’s in Dalaran and later Isle of Thunder since WotLK, and amusingly there have been green eyed High Elf NPC’s since TBC was released (Auric Sunchaser’s original model had fel green eyes, which makes sense, he was at the Allerian Stronghold, since then, with his new model, his eye colour has reverted to blue, same as some Blood Elves have), The Sunreaver mobs that spawn during Purge of Dalaran have a 50-50 chance of spawning with green eyes or blue eyes also.

It really isn’t a big deal at all. Yes, the Blood Elf customisations were a bit lacklustre, but it isn’t like all those options were given to Void Elves either…

we won’t ever get high elves as their own race, so we should discuss what we can change about void elves to fulfil that fantasy.

The skin tones and blue eyes were a good start, but I’d say 2 more changes are in order.

  1. Give Void Elves the hair colours & some hair styles of Blood Elves

  2. Allow Void Elves to be the paladin class

And for those who say that doesn’t make sense, void elves can be priests (holy and disc) and so can undeads. Also, there are many class / race combinations that are lore friendly but not playable in the game such as night elf paladins. Additionally, void elves can be warlocks, who use the fel (a conflicting cosmic force to void) and death knights who use necromantic powers (also a conflicting cosmic force to the void).

In the lore, when undeads use the light, it pains them due to the light being harmful to the undead. The same idea could be used for justifying void elf paladins from a lore perspective. Inspiration could be drawn from the concept for blood elf paladins which was a sort of ‘twisted paladin’. In the blood elves case, they drained light energy from Naaru. Void elf paladins could be light ‘stealers’ who are energised by the suffering they inflict on themselves by using the light as a void infused being.

Pathetic. Your fake race only exists because you steal things from the blood elves. I have no respect for any alliance poster. spits

I would agree void elves came out of nowhere and don’t have a large enough population to be a valid race. However, this was only because Blizzard didn’t add High Elves, which would have been justified lore-wise.

However I doubt you care about lore as I don’t see you complaining about blue-eyed blood elves.

Jaysis man, what is wrong with you? This is a discussion, not a schoolyard dust up!

In fairness, they’ve been around since WotLK, and lorewise make sense. Call yourself a Blood Elf, live in Dalaran during the TBC period=Blue eyes.

They make lore sense, same as fel-green High Elves do, and for that matter I’d expand that to give people who want their Void Elf to look like a High Elf Priest, to give the golden eyes as well, which makes logical sense for people like Auric Sunchaser and Priestess Aurora.

Disagree on the Paladin thing though, it was never an Iconic High Elf thing.

Not necessarily “change”, but the correct word is “add”.

No… that’s not a way to get “High elves”. More borrowing is definitely not the option.

I would say Blizzard could add at least one natural hair color (just 1) and the Helf look would be complete.

Some of the hairstyles of the Void elves work perfectly fine as there are a few without tentacles.

No. The main icon of the High elf race is Ranger (Hunter), and Mages. As long as these two classes are available, then that’s perfect.

Paladin was more of like a borrowed thing in High elf classes and it’s not even as common as you think. I only know of 2 known High elf Paladin NPC’s.

Void elves can be Shadowpriests in lore. That’s why the class is available. It’s the players that choose Holy/dis

Why not? During Warcraft 2 there are some High elf Rangers who wore tattoos in the colors: Blue, red, and green.

Would be cool if Blue went to Velves
And red went to Belves.

Just like the ones Alleria has.

It’s not something I personally want, but Blood elves are saying they want more. Tattoos could be an option.
